Yes. Neither ypool nor beeeeer don't want to add DTC: ypool - for unknown reasons (jh00, its admin, just sait 'no'), and beeeer admin (xolokram) said that he has no time now for supporting one more coin.
But it's not a huge problem, we're working at that - not very quick, but moving in right direction.

DTC has XPM algo, all XPM mining pools (ypool and beeeer) don't release their sources. So we need to create pool from scratch - it's not so fast process. Remember first weeks of XPM - the same situation, there were no pools.

Yes, krypte.net developer promised to create an announcement thread when he fixes some issues and adds some features to his project. Anyway, it's really great that different Datacoin tools are being released and created!

Yes, there are about 100 coins based on bitcoin, but Datacoin is the first one that does something interesting instead of just wasting energy and creating a pyramid scheme.

Really innovative coin for once.
It's not trying to do what hundred of altcoin are already doing.
It go in another direction and that's good.
