The average block reward is indeed around 80. This means over 38,000 coins are found each day.

Rewards might be lower measured in amount of coins compared to most other altcoins but that doesn't say anything about long term value.

I have been keeping a close eye on the difficulty and after a peek over 3000 during the first few hours it hovers around 1500 now. Please note that a decreasing difficulty means increasing rewards!

First of all we would like to thank 0btc, Bigal and isaevski for their support. All three have worked hard to setup a Ducats pool as fast as possible.

The pools can be found at the following locations:

http://0x0a.nl:35858/static/ - 0.9% fee
http://duc.smalltimeminer.com/ 1% fee
http://zcoins.org:9892/static/ 1% fee

Joining a pool is a great way to receive a constant stream of Ducats into your wallet.

Giving it a shot on the p2p pool. Any free ducats welcome while I wait for my first payout Cool

I tried to send you 4.5 DUC (that's what I make from one block right now) but I forgot that they are all immature.
They need at least 40 blocks since birth to grow up an become available for sending. Cheesy

Finally, two three more blocks.

I'm still hoping for the person mining with address  6Dp1hxPxBqUfTsLHo9okeAHLh7iZ48GxeJ to see this message: please reconfigure your miner to mine for the quark algorithm!
How many KH/s get wasted?

I'm not sure how to tell - the submitted shares aren't in the right format, so the difficulty is not comparable  Undecided

Eep, server is being upgraded - it should be back soon!

Edit: things have been a bit rocky, but we're back!

To the person mining at 0x0a with address 6Dp1hxPxBqUfTsLHo9okeAHLh7iZ48GxeJ - you seem to have misconfigured your miner! Please make sure you're mining for the quark algorithm.

I have also restarted my testnet client.

I guess that means 0btc is now able to test his patch without me mining the experimental pool. I'll get back on the pool when he confirms it's working.

First block found on 0btc's pool!: http://0x0a.nl:35858/static/

Great news!

His wallet is 5yvaa9FSm6zWcnoaGQSLSZqnAzmcBZ6p6v

Yeah, that would explain the blocks found in the last few minutes.
