Just wanted to add a comment and say a massive thanks to Lee/CoinsForTech I ordered a drone from BitDroneStore which turned out to be a scam they shipped to the first few it appears and the stole the rest.

I agree with you about this. Some things on that shop are still too expensive, including the import duty and also the thing about warranty is worth a mention, you cannot avail warranty in your country because most of the products don't come with an international warranty. I don't know about the US, but I am from India, and when goods are imported, you have to pay duty here. I paid around 3000 INR (approx. 47 $) for a device worth 328$ and also paid 4565 INR (approx. 71.25 $) for a tablet worth 551$, but even after including all those, things are a bit cheaper when I order from these guys.

But the problem is, the import duty has to be paid from my hand and cannot pay them in BTC (of course), so, I order from Amazon.in, Flipkart, Snapdeal, etc which are the local online retailers here in India.

This is why it's not really worth buying expensive items from outside the EU. The only thing that makes the prices attractive is that they don't include extortionate taxes, but you'll almost certainly get hit with them in customs so it defeats the purpose. Then of course if there's any problems it's not worth shipping it back to wherever it came from. Far easier just to bite the bullet and pay the extra to get it from your own country or inside the EU. At least you have the warranties and guarantees then as well.
