I didn't forget anything, I even said I might have missed something because I was building on both Windows and Linux and had to switch back and forth. Either way, it's all out there now so people can see who fucked up what and who ended up fixing two people's messes and making a great coin that is about to die to amateur fuckface fuds

Enjoy your thread, I'm done pissing in your sandbox

So, who's flipping now ? :-)

Its getting really, really ridiculous, you still don't see the point after all that posts (hint: it does STILL not matter who fixed what, where or who) - all that would have been necessary iswas:

"Sorry, no prob, got some coins over, lets swap them and get things going.."

Instead of a:

"Fuck you, i wanna throw my fist in your teeth (or something like that)"

that's the igotsots way.. the guy has proven time and again that he's a criminal sociopath

he needs to get the fuck out of crypto and back to scrubbing floors

I don't like iGotSpots's manners either and I'm backing ocminer on this one. I think that attitude can prove in some way who has a point and who doesn't. I had number of conversations with ocminer and he was always been helpful.

I'm honestly surprised something like this hasn't come out sooner.  He has a terrible track record of creating a coin and then running for the hills as soon as the pump is over.  His coins wallets rarely ever work properly.  Good to see his tactics are finally starting to catch up with him.

Here are a list of coins I know Spots to be dev/in charge of.  Please let me know of any others I missed, i'm sure there are lots that I don't even know about.

Dude this coin is a hack like the dev. If you can't see that then you are an idiot and deserve to have ALL your money stolen. As P.T. Barnum said, "A fool and his money are soon parted". Yep stick with Igotspots and you lose all your money fools.

You are just embarrassing yourself and nothing you can say or do will change that man. And since I personally know you you REALLY should stop fukin people around man. Even I have my limits and I definitely am tired of you fukin people over. I know we are friends and all, but come on man. Don't be suck a dick.

I will post your facebook link here if you don't back down man. YES, for real!

OR maybe I should sell it to the top bidder and rip people off like you........Nah I am not that heartless man. Be decent for once man.

You have never tried to shake hands, but it's funny how fast your attitude changes when you realize you're the one that fucked up and didn't actually do anything productive or positive. At all. You made a shitty situation worse and continue to do so for weeks. You're fucking pathetic

Ah, you magically "forgot" some of the chat log, here is the full version:

http://pastebin.com/S3SW9hEY

I did not change my attitude at all, I've posted several times what my opinion is all about, you deleted several of those posts on your thread in the announcements forums, just read the OP of this thread and tell me if it is offending in any way.  I was cooperative since the first minute, you not at even a second.

Hey folks,

I want to cry because iGotSpots delete my post on ecash thread, and i told my mama he is bad with me.

bla bla bla

You are mad because you want to steal 40,000 coins from premine.

Any people can follow what happened in the original thread.

Stop being a pussy girl posting lies.

Maybe I should get the IRC logs, it seems you have holes in your memory.. but this is not the point..

Don't bother, I will

Quote
this is all fucked up
my god
i didnt realize his elseif shit wasnt working
so blocks were always 600 then im guessing, never went down to 500 even
we should probably change that soon though lol
do you know if rewards ever worked
or was it always 600
i have no idea tbh
i did not watch it so closely
well shit
the explorer sucks too i cant tell
but in order to fix that i need to know what worked so it will accept the old blocks..
let me look in my database
i believe the reward was higher
max was 750
int64 GetProofOfWorkReward(int nHeight, int64 nFees, uint256 prevHash)
{
    int64 nSubsidy = 750 * COIN;
 if(nHeight == 1)
    {
        nSubsidy = 40000 * COIN; // less then 0.1% premine
    }
        else if(nHeight >= 1440)
    {
        nSubsidy = 600 * COIN;
    }
        else if(nHeight >= 2880)
    {
        nSubsidy = 500 * COIN;
    }
        else if(nHeight >= 4320)
    {
        nSubsidy = 400 * COIN;
    }
        else if(nHeight >= 5760)
    {
        nSubsidy = 300 * COIN;
    }
        else if(nHeight >= 6000)
    {
        nSubsidy = 250 * COIN;
    }
        else if(nHeight >= 6001)
    {
        nSubsidy = 0;
    }
    return nSubsidy + nFees;
}
so it stops checking after 600
you want me to change that ?
im just saying thats what he has
i dont know where it stops checking
the explorer doesn't really show
what the old blocks were
im guessing if 0 doesnt work, it never dropped to 500, 400, 300, or 250 either
its an easy fix, but i need to know when it stopped reducing
i see 600 as the last sum
it went down from 750 to 600
lol yes
 else if(
thats wrong
it should probably simply be „if"
because the first „else if“ always matches
when its above 1440
do you want me to fix it or should i fix it ?
ffs
he is so stupid lol
if you want to do it, go ahead, but heres my suggestion
or wait
let me think
lol
what block was the last 750
i think 1440
or 1439
i’ll fix it, give me a few mins
i would cut off mining at block 10k or something
i mean
the reward, make it 0 at block 10
10k*
i’ll make it 0 at block 6200
ok that works
then in main.h
change
the pow_cutoff to block 10k
so i can snapshot it there for balances
that will be the bittrex deadline, yea?
http://pastebin.com/dNYnawSp
thats the ne code
you use github?
just push it
to your repo ?
yea
hmm if that works...
or pull or whatever
int64 GetProofOfWorkReward(int nHeight, int64 nFees, uint256 prevHash)
{
    if (pindexBest->nHeight+1 == 1)
    {
      nSubsidy = 40000 * COIN;
      return nSubsidy + nFees;
    }

    else if (pindexBest->nHeight+1 >= 1440)
    {
      nSubsidy = 600 * COIN;
      return nSubsidy + nFees;
    }

   else if (pindexBest->nHeight+1 >= 6200)
    {
      nSubsidy = 0 * COIN;
      return nSubsidy + nFees;
    }    if (pindexBest->nHeight+1 == 1)
    {
      nSubsidy = 40000 * COIN;
      return nSubsidy + nFees;
    }

    else if (pindexBest->nHeight+1 >= 1440)
    {
      nSubsidy = 600 * COIN;
      return nSubsidy + nFees;
    }

   else if (pindexBest->nHeight+1 >= 6200)
    {
      nSubsidy = 0 * COIN;
      return nSubsidy + nFees;
    }
    return nSubsidy + nFees;
}
that is what you have
?
ok got your pull
main.h though
make
static const int POW_CUTOFF_BLOCK = 10000;
good
so we can snapshot that
as the balances to swap
i changed cutoff to 6201
i changed it on git, just for your own i mean
yea i know, but those coins will never mature then
10k gives them time to move the final coins around
oh ok
4k blocks at 0 reward
then change it back to 10k ?
hpopefully
pow cutoff ?
it was 100k before
make it 10k now, yea
ok
we'll snapshot at 10k
easier for richie too
if people miss that deadline, fuck them
lol
im over this shit
ok changed
recompiling
let me know if any errors then ill work on windows qt
i fucking hate windows, god
thanks for your help, sorry i fucked it up
im trying my best to work through this guys mess though
ah wait
i would redownload chain from the start too to make sure it accepts all the old blocks
forgot the declaration Smiley
lol
now it is working
if you merge that last change we’re good
ok no errors on that now?
and you have pow_cutoff at 10k on yours?
nope, last version is comiling fine
yes
ok cool
thanks, ill work on windows now, might take a bit, mingw makes me reset my deps every time...
wait this wont sync
you forgot the 750s
hmm
gotta accept all blocks at 750 before it dropped to 600
yes you’re right
this explorer is no help
it should be enough if you change line 932 to 750 * COIN
or no
add this
    else if (pindexBest->nHeight+1 >= 2)
    {
it may
      nSubsidy = 750 * COIN;
      return nSubsidy + nFees;
    }
yes that should do it
ok, try syncing from 0 if you can
just to be sure
it should be fast
hmm
oh shit
we're almost to 6200 already
fuck
did you update the code yet ?
on github ?
still over 100 blocks to go
yea i think i matched yours
i dont think he had fees thouhg
i cant find original git now
hmmm
no it didnt
lmao
god
ok so
just
remove all the fees
      return nSubsidy + nFees;
to
      return nSubsidy;
hmm i’m not sure if that works..  else if (pindexBest->nHeight+1 >=   should’t it be „<„ instead of „>“ ?
what was the last 750 block
ill just do this the easy way lol
let me look
1439
ok 1440 was 600
block 1 was 40,000
yep
thats all
ok i changed it to block 7000 for 600 just so we have time if needed
can you compile git now and try syncing from block 0
i know, im sorry
i can hop over to linux if you prefer not to
wait
what
the
fuck
its giving 750 per block right NOW?
it just switched...?
oh my god
please tell me your pool isnt mining 750 blocks right now
lol yes it is
ok
6084
was 600
6085
was 750, yes?
if so, git is updated already
no idea why it switched at 6085...
i’m downloading your code now, recompiling and reindexing
give me 5 mins
OK THANKS
oops
you got the new switch with 750 right
int64 GetProofOfWorkReward(int nHeight, int64 nFees, uint256 prevHash)
{
    int64 nSubsidy = 0;
    if (hashPrevBlock == hashGenesisBlock) {
     nSubsidy = 40000 * COIN;
    }
    if (nHeight <= 1439) {
     nSubsidy = 750 * COIN;
    }
    if (nHeight <= 7000) {
     nSubsidy = 600 * COIN;
    }
    if (nHeight <= 6085) {
     nSubsidy = 750 * COIN;
    }
    return nSubsidy;
}
should be that
yep
compiling now
that might give an error actually lol ffs
one more change i think
main.cpp:932:9: error: ‘hashPrevBlock’ was not declared in this scope
lol
yep
now its good
just hardcoded block 1
lioke so
 if (nHeight == <=1) {
?
    if (nHeight = 1) {
ok
i think = works, if error then ==
that might not sync
what ?
no it wont, i had two number backwards
fuck
that last switch to 750 just fucked it all up
ok
int64 GetProofOfWorkReward(int nHeight, int64 nFees, uint256 prevHash)
{
    int64 nSubsidy = 0;
    if (nHeight = 1) {
     nSubsidy = 40000 * COIN;
    }
    if (nHeight <= 1439) {
     nSubsidy = 750 * COIN;
    }
    if (nHeight <= 6085) {
     nSubsidy = 600 * COIN;
    }
    if (nHeight <= 7000) {
     nSubsidy = 750 * COIN;
    }
    return
does that look right now
ok NOW i think its right
ok
push that to github
so i can pull
6085
was 600
or 750
correct would be 600
ok
should be ready now
wait
6085 was 600?
6084 was 600, i think 6085 was 750
yes but due to a mistake
everything above 6000 should be 600
yea i know, but i am putting that in now
so it syncs with those blocks
we should not change that
i’ll just orphan theose blocks
oh fuck
ok
well shit
i’m the only pool on that chain - that makes no sense
just leave it at 600
so
everything since
block 1439 has been 600
1440 was the first 600, and they are all 600 now
right?
i think so - yes
ok
then its ready now
it will be 600 from 1440 through 7000, then 0 until 10000
man i cant wait to get this on my own chain that i know works...
this coin is so shit
its not syncing
from block 0
its not even accepting block 1 Smiley
ok then change
main.cpp
932
to ==
lol
yea
i know
so much work for tnohting
ill just switch to linux if you want so i can compile
yea, i have 0 of these too
lol
nope
doesn't work either
well
thats copying his...
int64 GetProofOfWorkReward(int nHeight, int64 nFees, uint256 prevHash)
{
    int64 nSubsidy = 750 * COIN;
 if(nHeight == 1)
    {
        nSubsidy = 40000 * COIN; // less then 0.1% premine
    }
thats what he has
int64 GetProofOfWorkReward(int nHeight, int64 nFees, uint256 prevHash)
{
    int64 nSubsidy = 0;
    if (nHeight == 1) {
     nSubsidy = 40000 * COIN;
    }
thats what i have
its the exact same..
let me check the old wallet
yea that should work
its the same structure i use for balls stake rate
old wallet works Smiley
so that works then?
it syncs from block 0?
yes
but not the new one
im confused
yup Smiley
so its good or its not good
i have one more idea
thats easy before i dig more
if its not good, try pulling again, i took out a lot of i think unneeded brackets
if this doesnt work, ill hop on  linux and build myself so you dont have to keep doing it
i think this would be the best
as the pool is already fucked up badly now
lol
ok brb
with all the orphans and stuff
well the 750
i dont know what that was
probably my error
with my ode
ah
ok
they are all orphaned now
ok cool
so its all good
ill switch to linux quick brb
hey btw do you know how to build windows qts or no
nm ill just do it later
brb let me switch
is your pool still finding ecash blocks
ive got a few th at it, says alive but i dont see any stats on pool page
your pool seems to be like 2 blocks ahead of the network (?)
im gettin all rejects solo

In this log we see your pool mining on its own fork (you were even mining for different rewards and compiled the wrong code), you choosing which blocks to manually orphan, you setting the cutoff to block 6201 and me telling you that is too early, and then finally you ignore me for three days when I tell you your shit code isn't working and your pool is on its own fork

After being ignored for 3 days, I left you behind and swapped it to a working chain (with 0 problems since launch) because your garbage was stuck forever on block 8250-ish

If my log is missing anything, feel free to post to fill in the holes, since I was on two OS's, but I think I got the entire thing

you people are just disgusting !!!
Seams that many of you forgot that iGotSpots fix the coin, move the chain, save all our money.

Nooope, i've posted it in the OP already, we've fixed it, not him alone, look at my github, the fixed repo is still there:

https://github.com/ocminer/ECASH-Old-PoWActive

This was the thing why I was involved with the coin at all - AFTER the fix i quit my involvement and he kept on going further and required a premature swap.

However - The name "ECash" is not bad at all and this coin deserves a decent, honest dev, but just look through the thread in the Announcement Forum, do you really think someone who threatens / offends people all the time and cannot just say "Sorry man, the swap went through too fast, but I've got some coins over, I'll just send you (as a pool OP) the coins you've lost to reimburse your miners - sorry for the rush" - And everything would be cool ? I was even cool with "No, you cannot get any coins - the swap is over" as I bought the lost coins and reimbursed my miners - the shit hit the fan when it became clear that the (missing/needed) coins where there all the time and he just kept it .. So it was a (unnecessary) "swindle" (to say it softly) ...

If you fixed it and not me, then why are all your coins still on the old chain?

And for the record...these 'fixes' you keep linking are THE REASON THIS CHAIN FROZE BEFORE BLOCK 10,000 - If anything, it's your FAULT it broke further

Your shit code wouldn't even process a block unless it had a TX in it, which I had to automate for over 2 days to limp this shitty coin solo while your pool mined invalid blocks because of no TX on its own fork

My new chain works fine. You further fucked an already fucked up original chain.

If you don't believe me then load up the original chain and try to process a block. It wont even work unless you loop transactions and automate them because of your garbage code

You changed reward to 0.00 on a coin that will not accept 0 reward blocks. Are you this dense?

^ This is what you have been bragging about, by the way...breaking something even worse than it already was...

First off, ocminer, thanks for this post. Most people I now avoid his shit coins like a plague, but this is a good warning for the n00bs or anyone else thinking about risking their funds on his shitcoins/services.

MMXIV
10K
BALLS
ECASH

Locohammerhead, I would also like add to that list that he would also started PoS cloud staking services and sells Pi devices on his website which people should also avoid if they don't want to get screwed.
