I have been with Supercoin for almost two years now.   It seems like the only way to get your hands on it is through pos.  I am starting to see the value of the advance wallet that is currently being developed by the trusted crypto group.  I just don't really understand the purpose of everything.  If someone could please clarify the purpose of this forum it would be greatly appreciated.  Keep up the work btw.

Well this need to be promoted count me in Griffith

It looks like a bunch of giant companies have joined forces to follow the same direction that Griffith has taken when he decided to concentrate his work for the coins on an application that can do more then just being a coin.

As I understand it "Cryptobank" will be an app that can merge blockchain applications into one program while using the coins (Super, ECC and MWC) as tokens to use the program.

also gunna take the time to replace the ECC graphics since the wallet is based off that one and i still have yet to change the icon from ecc to CB

the website hosting for the current site is expiring soon i think. it needs a little work on the redesign side anyway so i will probably get around to hosting a second one and then this one will just expire when its time is up. when this is done links will be posted

also planning to add a short bio section in the second post for myself along with general info

I have just renewed the hosting for trustedcryptos and will leave the website up until you have another website. Do me and yourself a favor and make a new website that you can maintain, update and build a reputation on. I am sure you are going to need that once you have the Crytpobank fully developed....it's a great project.

Have a great 2016....to all of you  Wink

updated OP, removed a lot of storyboard info. made a table and added nodes for the coins. renamed thread (in thread only) due to the team mostly dissipating over time.

i cant actually see the MWC nodes right now due to the fact that i actually have the gui wallet running and not a daemon so i cant ssh into my server and get my actual node list. so until i can do that the list will be what is shown. unless someone else wants to post there nodes for me

updated the second post. the addresses arent showing up correctly. i redid a the CBitcoinAddress class (originally found in base58.h of almost every coin out there) and replaced all instances of it in the code with a CoinAddress class that i made myself. however i must have done something wrong with the base58 encoding step because every time i go to check or retrieve the address string it comes back different, and none of which are correct for the coin it is supposed to be displaying. i am looking into that now and i should find a solution for it soon.

holidays are over so its back to work now.

due to the immense amount of free time i will have since i am out of school for the next month+ i will be fixing a few of these issues.

also we cant outright ban him. only delete his posts as i see them pop up. contacted the admins many times about the issue but he actually isnt breaking any rules except being an asshole. which there is no actual rule against. there are no rules on bitcointalk about insults, graphic images or hate speech. the response i got was if he wants to make himself look like an idiot he can but we dont censor or ban people for any content except illegal activity (aka child porn and selling drugs and weapons), one he does one of those things he can be banned but until then i can do nothing

It's good I understand, I'm really looking forward to see what will happen with SUPER Supercoin in the next few weeks, I will definitely keep an eye on it. I think this coin always had great potential.

Let's make 2016 the year of SUPER.

Thanks Griffith, i just wanted to run a .rb scrypt to recover my password since i was out of the crypto world for a few months couldnt remember my pass, now that i recovered it i can stake! with no issues, btw has anybody hit the Super block lately ?

How do i install Supercoin wallet on linux?

replace apt-get with whatever package manager your system is using (yum is an example of another one)

use the following commands.

apt-get install git

once installed

git clone https://www.github.com/Greg-Griffith/SuperCoin

cd SuperCoin

cd src

make -f makefile.unix

and then it should be created. to run the wallet type:

./SuperCoind

if you want to watch the wallet, instead of the above command use this one:

./SuperCoind && watch -n 5 './SuperCoind getinfo'

as far as doing things, any wallet command should be available once you start the wallet.
if your computer gets stuck on ./SuperCoind and wont let you type anything after and the only way to get back to the command line is crtl C then use the following command instead

./SuperCoind&

any of the wallet functions should be available once it is running, (assumeing you are still in the SuperCoin/src folder since the commands wont work outside of this folder) with the format

./SuperCoind [command]

to a see a list of all commands type

./SuperCoind help
