Guys i emailed back with another multi pool about ECC option. I hope they accept ECC, so we can get some of you mine as soon as pow ends, continuing from their system. I say alternatives is good even for multi pools.

Well it depends on community, how many of you ready to mine ECC on multi pool after PoW ends?
I mean not our official pool but some alternative? Can one of you organize donation project? So all community can pay some. Target is 10m. This money will delivered back as bonus to miners in some ways.

It's a good idea of having alternative ECC multipools. What's bad with the bigger multipools is the fact that their owners don't change things often because they are afraid of braking anything. All the time more profitable coins are being created and most multipools don't mine them instead.
How are you thinking of using the 10m ECCs ? Will they be used for bounties or giveaways, something else?

We are one of the few multipools around who have the following benefits;
* we allow payout of mined coins for any alt we mine (ie: if we mine DGC for 30 min, you can take the DGC or have it auto-traded, this decision can be made coin-by-coin)
* we hop on new coin launches at the start. This has led to massive profit leads by getting in early on coins like; BC, EFL, NLG, ISR, WC, AC (combined with the above feature of you being able to keep the coin if you so choose, big profits all around).
* if we add ecc you can of course get ECC direct for all your mining efforts, automatically, every day at pre-defined time.
* the pool has been around more than 6 months, is generally top 3 (

We essentially have the benefits of multipool.us (you can keep the alt if you want it), clever/waffle/middlecoin et al (you can auto-trade it all to btc), ipominer (we hit coin launches early to maximize returns), and unique thus far more or less (many options to be paid out in, instead of just BTC).
Also of note:
* ECC being on a pool like hashcows exposes the coin to a wider community, and miners who may not have already been familiar with it
The fundraising/bounty is for implementing ECC. If the community attracts enough hashrate we'll happily pay it back out in the form of rewards (or some other ideas if you have them) to attract more interest.
How about 8.500.000 ECCs as the bounty amount? I remember that when Faircoin was discussing how much they needed to collect in order to be added there, the bounty was the equivelant amount of FACs as 0.5btc. ECC price has been stable for days at 6-7sat while it was being pushed down by multipool dumbs. Yes, I agree that a big multipool will help ECC to become more known, but you shouldn't forget that all these coins with the growing communities are helping your pool as well, when people choose to mine with you. Let's help each other to become more widely known.
If there is interest by the community here, the bounty amount won't matter much. The main reason I suggested the lower amount is because this way we can speed things up by a couple of days, or more in case there is enough interest. I'm quite positive that there will be interest because every one here wants this coin to have a bright future. I'm sure we will have the communities answer soon enough!:) Thank you for your interest in ECC. I would personally love to see it listed there. Let's see!
