try adding:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
to your conf file and restart. You ARE using the username and password you have in your conf file right?
sorry for the late response, i was out for work
yes, i am using the same user/pass and i did try to add that line and i get this every time
use 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost and what do you get? Yes, I know it should work either way....
Find the ip address of your machine, such as 192.168.1.56
add rpcallowip=192.168.1.* to your config file
in cgminer use url 192.168.1.56:12128 then user and password
you should be good to go.
