1. POS & Github Push:
Q: We could say that you're actually working as your primary issue to solve things related to PoS/PoW rewards?
A: Correct, just committed an update to GitHub this morning in regards to the PoW/PoS block mix, including a patch to VRX and a newly written difficulty skew curve for it. Next is the PoS rewards, making the staking a bit more robust so that it can handle the network load so that everyone can receive stakes like they should.
Q: You dropping the update tonight?
A: Later tonight there should be another github push with the PoS modification which will resolve the final issues we're having with that. Then will roll out the new client.
Q: What's the status on the android wallet & is it possible to mine with the phone then?
A: During the initial beta it won't stake but the normal release will, reason being just setting up the system is time consuming and we don't want to shortcut it.
Q: I just got online, did I miss any announcements today?
A: There's a new github push that was rolled out early this morning, a few more planned then the new client will be publicly announced on the ANN thread and such.
Q: Actually, for staking, how much espers would 500k stake make per day/week?
A: Currently not much per week, maybe a couple times. But with the current update coming of which github is receiving commits for it will make it more frequent than that.
Q: You're saying 'currently', will it improve/be fixed? Will it require a client update?
A: Yes. If you're running the full client with auto updates you'll just be prompted as soon as the new one is released.
Q: Is it normal for the wallet to take a big amount of cpu usage for staking? I have a g3900.
A: It really shouldn't, but depending on system specs and what inputs are selected for staking it may utilize more on some occasions and then less on others.
Typically I'm seeing 1-15% CPU utilization (idle-staking) with an old Core 2 Quad CPU. (Staking on a) Celeron isn't exactly the best CPU in the world. But I don't have enough info to make a verdict as to whether it's the machine or the wallet.
Q: We need a PoSi .. I posted the idea in main esp, Proof of Staking interrupter. cut the whales staking to cycle on a 12 hour basis, based on weigh of overall holders staking, maybe grouped by weight.
A: In a way that's what this does, but enforced network wide.

2. Whitepaper & Exchanges
Q: What is the status of the whitepaper?
A: It's still in progress, I'm sure that's not what you want to hear but regrettably things came up and the white paper is still being worked on. We were more focused on the new PoS weight calculations and the PoW/PoS hybrid generation being consistently even instead of 90% PoS and 10% PoW.
Q: Is there an ETA for the whitepaper?
A: Will just say in the coming days/soon, don't have a date for you because as what happened with the previously promised dates, we missed them and even though the updates are rolling out now they're late and we don't want to do that again.
Q: Any update regarding the whitepaper?
A: Yup, we talked about it earlier, still writing it, updates too priority over the documentation.
Q: Any news about exchanges?
A: (Trance) Bittrex has marked the Coin Request support ticket as 'solved' and I've not received any info, but it takes time to add things and they likely don't tell anyone their coin is being added, don't never tell anyone unless it's officially announced it keeps insider trading down.

3. Masternode & PoR & Nodes:
Q: Regarding to MasterNodes, what would make a MN more responsive to any other? I mean, MN would handle network work, so a good one should have a good cpu or what?
A: For the MN it's a matter of network connection really, it shouldn't load down you computer much at all but it will be talking with the network a lot.
Q: PoS -> Holder | PoW -> GPU's (I use) | PoR ->
A: Your PoR question is that PoR will be put in when the MNs come in to pay any full nodes (normal nodes that are fully open) and MNs
Q: By now I got my wallet open for weeks and on espstats site it looks like a normal node. I don't know what I should do to appear as a full one.
A: If you have incoming connections you're considered a full node. Usually connections are leechers. But if you're "seeding" then you're a full node as you're providing network stability by supplying other clients with the block chain and interacting with them.
Q: Is there any available manual to do that? I would like to help. I got a lot of free bandwidth. There only 16 full nodes by now, it would help to have that if it isn't by now open to the newcomers.
A: There are manuals for other projects but we've not created material outlining the procedure yet, if you know how to port forward in your router just forward the port for Espers in your router from incoming connections to your computer's IP. If you need more help with it we can chat later about it. Normally there's more work, but Espers generates your config file automatically. It's a step you don't need to do.
Q: So MN's, any eta on a decision?
A: As per older discussions MNs are still a later in the year early next.
Q: Why not create dual masternode, like the ones whale hosted for dash long ago, allow multiple people to own one MN.
A: That's more of a service provider feature, for instance "TheCryptoChat" host a block explorer and such and also are working on MN pools. So you'd have to go with a service but yeah that would be possible.
Q: I been doing some testing but I still appear as a Node. Can someone help me out with Port Forwarding to appear as a full node?
A: If you have incoming connections then you are one. It won't actually state your status, no wallet ever has before for that sort of thing though that seems like a good idea lol.

4. Mining:
Q: What would be in case the update gets released the maximum amount of ESP mined a day? Do you have any calculation on that?
A: I have no way to calculate the mining rewards sorry. We'll have to see what it is after the chain runs on the updates. We're currently running tests on a local testnet.
Q: Sorry If I'm trying to be a bit precise regarding with mining questions, since I would like to know, because I'm actually mining, but since ESP is a little broken I sell other coins and buy this. Just trying to figure out what I would do on patch release.
A: Right now there are around what 2 blocks every 4 hours? Should be more like 2-3 PoW blocks per hour as a very rough estimate, But logically that's where I would peg it at.
Q: Another thing related to hash, is, looking at minertopia we can see sometimes like network having a total PoW of 2.2GH/s, is that even true? Does espstats belong officially to the team? Is that okay?
A: All stats are reported by any wallet/client
As far as how a site has integrated their hashrate readout I have no clue if the hashrate readout on minertopia is on the dot or not, you could check the block explorers or your local wallet to find out more.

5. Additional Questions & Android Wallet:
Q: What is the projected price increase by the end of this year? In satoshis of course
A: No clue the dev team and I are working on it and the price does what it does
Q: What's the status on the android wallet & is it possible to mine with the phone then?
A: During the initial beta it won't stake but the normal release will, reason being just setting up the system is time consuming and we don't want to shortcut it.
Q: How is the Android wallet coming? Is an iOS one in the works?
A: Android wallet is coming along, just working with another team member on it. They were setting up a server for go live the other day, just taking time.
Q; How is it actually implemented though? Obviously you're not running a full node on your phone. I'm just curious.
A: In this case you're correct it's not a full node on your phone. It's an android app that will interact with the block chain and network. it'll act just like a normal wallet and connect to seednodes.
Q: Is Espers your #1 priority or side project?
A: It is our #1 priority.
