@Everyone

Espers v0.8.5.3 has been released
The chain will continue to move the way it currently does on PoS until bock 642,000 (sometime tomorrow)
After this however PoW and PoS will equally once again find blocks and the DarkGravityWave will run as it should.
Excuse the inconvenience of this!
-- yes that was very drone sounding SORRY! but had to restate this as it is actually corrected now
Also we are excited to announce a new system that has been put into the chain that will ensure blocktimes along with other chain params that are part of the system.

Please NOTE: You do NOT have to re-sync or do anything special. Just run the new client, the server for auto-updates should be back online sometime tomorrow in the meantime PLEASE USE THE LINK BELOW
Alternatively you can download the standalone Windows client here.

Mac client to follow suite, Linux users please re-compile.

Some addnodes while the servers are in maintenance Smiley
Code:
addnode=104.236.150.155:22448
addnode=104.237.0.79:22448
addnode=107.170.212.222:22448
addnode=120.24.217.96:22448
addnode=144.76.237.39:22448
addnode=146.185.153.196:22448
addnode=188.68.49.137:22448
addnode=199.26.184.214:22448
addnode=208.68.36.6:22448
addnode=217.175.119.126:22448
addnode=24.228.192.97:22448
addnode=46.101.188.194:22448
addnode=5.157.115.132:22448
addnode=85.145.32.75:22448
addnode=91.121.77.74:22448

If you are on a fork you don't necessarily need to reload the blockchain.
It may reorganise itself, provided you are on the latest client.

^^ this Smiley the client should re-index you over a period of time.

Still waiting for the node payment which was promised last Friday ...

I understand. Sadly I do not have the funds right now. If you'd like we can discuss this further. Unlike what I'm sure you'd like to believe we are not rolling around in BTC...

You will be payed as soon as we have the final payment for the nodes that we rented through you. Rest assured it's on the priority list of things to do.

I also understand you taking this public as I've consistently attempted to pay you with personal funds and was unable to but it will not magically cause me to have money.

It may reorganise itself, provided you are on the latest client.

I am back to one connection (using the nodes above) and my wallet is not syncing; I am definitely on a fork and its strange I cant connect to others.

There is a question as to what is the latest client: I have 8.5.1 - is this the latest one? I'm seeing some 8.5.2 going around: would this solve my problem? Where can I get 8.5.2?

The OP still points to 8.4.1.

Latest one is 8.5.3 with patch6 as written above. Links are also above.

Bcё тaк жe xyйня и ниxyя ?

Wanted to say the same, but you are Faster.

Hey guys!
I have knowledge Espers a short time and so i did not participate in the two give away, but i realized that there are still 2 billion ESPs left unclaimed.
Anyone know what happens to these ESPs?
If there will be any other give away?

Dev told me they would be used for promotions. They Will ask also community forum ideas.

Ok thank you for answering...

What kind of promotion are you talking about?

Don't know yet, they will ask community when time is ready. First prior was fixing the fork. Now thats ok, we wil see what the next prior for them is.

Updated ANN with standalone link for now. Updater system will be re-linked after server updates.

Not to bother you, but it would be nice if your Mac makefile would reference the deps for homebrew structure instead of Macports.

Just updated to 0.8.5.3. It needed a couple of minutes to catch up but seems to run very well with 16 nodes or so. Stacking good. I will try the pool as soon as it is online.

Here also fine, needed to add new addnotes. But all ok.
