Just stopping by, for Connections Issue just remove the PORTS

addnode=159.203.12.73
addnode=70.214.43.97
addnode=104.236.150.155
addnode=159.203.24.196
addnode=107.170.212.222
addnode=173.18.196.253
addnode=188.166.155.131

No need for the PORTs if doing addnode. This is what i did and i got connections without any issues.

Edit: Devs team will need to hardcode some nodes in wallet to help new users start their wallets easily.

I don't know why I have ipv6 nodes, my internet connection hasn't been set up for that. (Maybe cuz I'm going through google's DNS?)

The only thing I have been able to do to get more then 2 or 3 connections or Win7 is just shut the wallet down, delete the Espers.conf in the app data folder.
Then run the wallet and add the nodes through the wallet console. Let it run for a couple hours and more connections will slowly follow. Shocked

The nodes are handling the massive amount of connections as best as possible. Clearly is still not enough. We are launching more dedicated nodes. Stand by. pool pointing coming to the wallet soon as well. Just give us time.

I have 2 windows machines mining just fine on the same network. Wins 10 64 bit...

Did you ever get connection?
I was wondering if your using Win7 by any chance.
Let me know.

If Windows 7 is the culprit we will recompile the client on Windows 7 to alleviate any possible issues. (We usually use win8.1 or win10)

Although many people who have had issues are on Windows 7, I do not fully believe Windows 7 is the problem. I started a wallet and I'm solo mining through the wallet on Windows 7 without problems.

The only problem I faced was the default nodes were not allowing for connections. However, after adding the nodes others have posted into the config file, I have had good success. On both my Windows 8 and Window 7 wallets, I currently have 7 active connections, which is plenty to allow the wallet to fully operate.

I did notice however, when setting up the wallet on Windows 7, for the first hour or so I only had 1 active connection. I have let the wallet run throughout the evening and now have 7 connections. It is as if it just takes some time establish connections. It is sort of strange.

Thank you for clearing that up. Yes our nodes are practically maxed out. The network has exploded and we are launching more nodes in response to alleviate network sluggishness

is there a possibility that one good guy can compile a windows one for us!! Grin
I already tried to do it with vs2013 and 2015 but got like 30+ errors lol

This is our top priority right now. Stand by. If someone else beats us to the punch I'll personally include then into the giveaway for the contribution. That's if someone actually wants to do it instead of waiting for us.

yeah i think i noticed that but i can't navigate github (aka finding the miner)

Unfortunately there is no compiled version for windows yet .. I tried to compile via Cygwin but somehow "automake" is segfaulting when I try to compile

Using oc's miner from there.
