I dont understand the talking about the ethereum suspicions if you see the threads before this project have a lot of development and still in development so they said ethereum is a lot of not good things since 2014 and say ethereum will drop price and this coin is dead but if look back when project was born until now is much evolution and this just a frontier as member said before and it's remain so strong with solid innovations it's just in the beginning of course in the short time the price is so instable and may with pump and dump as everybody say but if you see the release of bitcoin and make some comparisson ethereum is so good in it's road even the bitcoin is the first coin and that time crypto-currencies was a brand new technology but now the market is so competitive and all the new coins and projects have to prove their values.Ethereum is doing this now so don't take a bad memory forgetting everything past and see to middle time what is happening if you dont want invest  just watch and make your own decisions but see what happening in the project and this releases not a rumors spreading around.

is just my guess

Thanks a lot for your attention

Make Bitcoin glow with ENIAC

Well untested vaporware does fluctuate quite a bit during speculative trading. We could see 0.0012

If the price drops to 0.0012 and the bitcoin price does not rise, it means Ethereum is a dead system.

No it doesn't, not by a long shot. Ethereum has a somewhat different raison d'être than other shitcoins.

Anyone know what been going on with the prices lately with this coin. Am guessing massive pump and a big ass dump at the top and back down to normal prices again?

i don't think it will go to normal prices ... maybe new ground is 250-300

The price is 0.01 at the moment. It is still 3 to 4 time of the 0.0025-0.003. I think the now bottom could be 0.005.

Using Mist should I be using Geth 1.3.3 (Go) or should I be using ETH 1.1.0 Develop (C++)?

Problem is when I have it set to Geth, Mist freezes at Searching for Peers when I launch it

Sync your Windows clock with a time-server.

Thanks, but already doing that by default

But did you actually force it to sync? Only a few seconds off and it doesn't connect to peers.

NTP services are broken on all versions of windows except XP. You'll need a 3rd party synch app to keep accurate time.

Get a list of NTP server IP address and use the IP only, do not use DNS lookup to resolve your NTP servers. You'll also need to rotate your list of servers frequently to keep up to date. This is a serious conspiracy and an encrypted NTP key is needed if you don't want to jump through hoops.

There's been some heavy market speculation I think because of the uncertainty surrounding the possible Bitcoin hard fork. I think some smart investors are just hedging in case the Bitcoin price tumbles, and its caused a spike and subsequent collapse in the price of ether. Just my 2 cents. Personally though the price of ether today, tomorrow, next week, or even next year does not matter to me. Ethereum I believe has a great future but its got a long way to go before its ready for significant real world usage. I wouldn't pay much attention to the price of Ether right now, its going to have a lot of ups and downs.

The rumour is that you have to 1500 Ethereum to stake. You can search the internet to find out. It is too big.

1500 is a large amount. I wonder what the "interest rate" is ;-)

The interest rate is not fixed. It is the new Ethereum generated every year. I think it is about 18 million new Ethereum every year.

http://www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/innovation/forget-about-oil-your-next-car-will-run-on-ethereum/

Shocked European energy giant RWE which looks to make the blockchain an integral part of its core businesses. Shocked
Forget about Oil, Your Next Car will Run on Ethereum!
the project aims to get rid of the need for a centralized server altogether. Stephan Tual, Slock.it’s CCO (and the former CCO for the Ethereum project) explains: “RWE makes proper use of the public blockchain by leveraging a shared resource and paying only for what it uses. In effect, they are renting access to the world computer, Ethereum.”
 Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue

RWE is a big German energy company that's listed on the German Stock Exchange (DAX)
They took over several other energy companies like Essent.

Great news!

Is there a minimum that you need to stake you ETH, because i can see the long term backing of this coin, but i have a small holding.

The rumour is that you have to 1500 Ethereum to stake. You can search the internet to find out. It is too big.

I don't think it's set in stone yet.
