ETH realy needs to cooldown a bit, the more you people attempt to pump it now the worse it will be next week, when BTC hits 600+ USD. It is not smart to ignore such BTC upside potential and invest into expensive altcoins now.

I wish I could pump it. I only have 50 but something tells me that just wont help.
And to think, I bought them when they were cheaper than the ICO.
That day in Bittrex I ended up buyimg more of a coin I can't even remember its name now.
I had 1 Bitcoin to play around with bought 50 ETH and the rest on a coin that was dumped so hard
I only managed to get 0.1 Bitcoin back.

Cheaper than the ICO? What is your price? I think the price of Ethereum never drops below ICO.

maybe cheaper than first opening marketprice not the ico ?
indeed the ico was very cheap

Hello guys.I have some money and i start to think to buy a farm with 2x7990 and 280x so it has 110mhs it costs like 1400 bucks and i found another farm with 5x270X it will get me like 70-80 mhs i think, it cost like 900 bucks.I have a cheap electricity in my country, will it be worth it buy a farm and mine or just forget about it and just buy ethereum on this money.
You are not buying a farm. Those are RIGS. A farm is made up of multiple rigs. I run six rigs and I hesitate calling my setup a farm. Possibly a mini-farm.

You would want accumulate as much $ETH as possible before it goes Proof-of-Stake. Buying is probably the best choice since Ethereum 2.0 is a head of schedule.

Although you can mine all sorts of new cryptocoins with GPUs so they wouldn't be worthless. Who knew that mining EXP for the last 2 months could have made you $100,000 USD.

BTW, I've started to clone the Synereo technology stack using the monadic design pattern for the web. I will then also clone ETH 2.0 once it's complete.

If anyone is interested in learning how to use the Synereo tech stack + ETH 2.0 , let me know.

Lot's of potential here:
Ethereum = 0 PoS nodes
New ideas = 0 PoS nodes

Everyone is starting at the same line.

BTC will not hit 600 next week or next month.

Yes, it will.  Kiss

im having trouble with mining lately,  "GPU can’t allocate the DAG in a single chunk. Bailing."  mining was ok weeks ago. are mining are more difficult now, or is it my gpu dying ?

what is your gpu ?

i have some  280x and 270 i find some gpu can mine as usual, and other cannot mine at all. i think all of them has 2 G memory.
btw they were different brand.

ya i would ask about your gpu also.
i HEARD, (don't quote me)  that requirements are pushing towards TWO GB memory cards
and the 1GB is getting pushed out (unable to allocate full dag)
now, i only heard that , but if you have a 1gb card that may be it ;\
also i heard you can split the dag into chunks?
tbh im not sure how to do that tho, i have a 2gb card (750ti) that has been running about 2 months almost str8 on OC's pool no prob

ok...

thanks for the info.  splitting dag into chunk ?  ill google some info thanks

is anyone solo mining ethereum?

currently I am mining on a pool with my single 290, churning out 29 mh/s.

playing with the idea of going solo, but not sure if it would work out so wanted to hear from anyone else that is currently soloing and finding blocks ?

I used to solo mining Ethereum when the Ethereum difficulty was low. That was with 150 MH/s. For you that is too low hash rate.

Hello, I want to ask if someone could tell me what speed can earn this card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131673

In your opinion is it suitable for digging ethers ?

Thanks in advance Grin

I like this water cooled card better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131676

"PowerColor DEVIL Radeon R9 390X DirectX 12 AXR9 390X 8GBD5-ADHE 8GB 512-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support ATX Video Card"

those stock fans on the elcheapo 380x aren't going to cut it, and its slow.

Wut??!??!?!

C'mon man, 280x/280 is the best value card for mining ETH!!!
Sure the one on your link is faster, but is almost 3x more expensive!
I'm using 280x and they mine just fine, temp are also OK!
