The volume in poloniex has been decreased too much, i remember when it was >11,000 ETH but now it is ~1600 ETH, are people collecting (holding) Ethereum to sell in future?

The volume was ~12K BTC at it's highest and now 1.6K BTC.

Some people hold, some trade and some bought to build Dapps.

Normal IMO

Today the volume of Etherium was increased again by more than 100%, so and the price was very unstable today. Yeah people are holding to sell after months or years.

So confused....anybody have any links to more recent tutorials on how to use this stuff?  Is there a list of the predefined functions for the ethconsole anywhere?

So it's close to correct according average. isn't it Tongue
So many power and cant set it up straight Roll Eyes  Grin

You are getting to much:)
Joke. block time and difficulty are jumping up and down a bit. Avarage might still come up? something aint working right on your side? Ping?

I will soon add mail confirmation adjustable for everyone, not a system wide setting.

Currently a lot of people want it and a lot of people don't want it..

Is it normal for hashrate to fluctuate this much ?

I'm running 40mh but see

0, 8.95mh, 26.5mh, 35mh , 45 and sometimes higher

At many times I'm not sure I'm actually mining

I'm currently trying to get the orphan rate lower by retargeting the workers faster/slower...

My testing is finished soon.. I guess with 12s block target its simply "normal" that there are few more orphans than with "normal" coins..
Last 2 hours on suprnova lots of lost connections and low hashrate monitoring.Tried another pool iit's working without any problems.looking forward to your fixing...

Should be better now already, I'm currently implementing vardiff which is ready soon.

Make sure you are using the latest version of cpp-frontier (0.9.41) which contains an updated ethminer, which sends hashrate info to the server.

You have quite a lot of hashrate, but mine hardly any blocks - is everything working?

Yeah I guess so. Payments seem to be getting closer to my calculations with more people jumping onboard.

I've fixed the orphan rate for now, the wallet sometimes "lags" and doesn't report the last mined block info well. Currently I'm trying to get the Invalids lowered, they're basically "stales" which means the work is done for an old block .. Vardiff will probably be the only solution for that, the problem is ethminer doesn't really report invalids, you can only check that on the pool side - which quite bad for debugging...

Nightly giveaways and faster mining at alphapool.xyz!

We have some very, very exciting news for AlphaPool. Having run for about 24 hours, we're pretty sure that our Go-based algorithm delivers the most efficient pool mining on the market right now.

Here's a highlight reel of what we have to offer for our miners:

  • 0% transaction fee, automated payouts every hour (forget about waiting 24hrs for payments...)
0% pool fee for the first week, 1% thereafter
1ETH bonus to every miner on the website at 12:00am PST every night until August 26, 2015
A proprietary multithreaded Go-server that delivers pretty damn good efficiency

We just need more miners, so check us out!

I've got an Suprnova MPOS based Pool ready out of Alpha into Beta testing for ETH:

https://eth.suprnova.cc

Let me know if you have any problems or see weird behaviour of the pool. Estimates/day should be pretty close to what the calculator says. Hashrate calculation is a bit wonky due to the not-stratum based protocol but will be fixed as soon as I got more samples.

I think your daily ETH calculations are off

This seems to be accurate taking the last 60 blocks into consideration

http://badmofo.github.io/ethereum-mining-calculator/

My calculations are actually based on this calc, but I'll rework the calculations in a bit. First priority was to get MPOS working nicely with ETH, it was quite a job until everything including payouts were working, I've done stats in a hurry and will look over that now/within the next hours.

Yeap no problem.

I posted your pool on the ethereum subreddit and hashrate seems to be going up Smiley

Any chance I can get my PIN reset ? as I can't seem to be able to change the withdrawal amount and ETH address.

https://eth.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=account&action=edit  and then look bottom right :-)

Yeah Hashrate is already decent for my testing purposes, I wanted to post the pool on twitter/reddit a bit later when stats are fixed, but no prob.. Sometimes its probably better sooner than later Wink

please add mail confirmation to withdraw, for more secure

Using the PIN is good enough IMO
