I just realized that Etherum doesn't have a total supply, it's like Dogecoin. Whether because of this factor that has made prices of ETH on the market difficult to grow? Other than that, even though their technology has been applied in many ICO projects, but it does not seem to have a positive impact on ETH prices.
price cannot grow because we are in a bear market, i feel like this bear market will last forever. one more reason is the development or eth blockchain is slow now, there are better and faster blockchains, lots of competition. dyor and invest in better projects.

I'm a firm believer of ethereum being a trading / investing ponzi but I don't blame Vitalik. The rise from $zero to $1000 was not his work and either was the fall. He's nothing but a child and an inexperienced boy in a man's world, and this is the ultimate wet dream for an investor or trader. He's just good enough to make sense and pretend there is some use for this garbage while others make a killing with his bad good idea.
At the end of the day he's done nothing wrong but give the people the framework to make a killing, and they did, and in the course of doing so we learned there is no need for smart contracts and that the problems it supposed to cure, creates many more problems elsewhere.

Vitalik doesn't think at these things which are raised in that long post which is based on reality. If he was believing in some solid norms and principals then he not supporting BCH guys. That was his open support for them for the thing which created bad things for crypto as whole. Now come back to Ethereum he has sold out his tokens so neither he is traders nor will care of the price of his own token. People will keep telling their stories and nothing will change.

Is sometimes worrisome to see CEO raised their fund through this forum and left without looking back. I am not sure this forum benefited from him financially or in any other ways. Now his last visit on this forum was as old as ethereum itself. this happens to a lot of project and I think bitcointalk should start demanding fund for every campaign or ANN thread from ICO, If that is all they could gain from them. I know people that know people on Wall St. and I can assure you none of the exchanges is building infrastructure for institutional crypto trading. Buying or selling any crypto coins or tokens is against the federal law in the US. This is one big manipulation this is fake news someone probably banks are paying the crypto news sites to spread these lies and then they are shorting big and when prices crash they buy your coins at lower prices. Everyone who is falling for this "institutionals are coming to save the day" is an absolute fool I can't describe it any better. And what the hell happened to decentralization suddenly everybody became from decentralist to centralist, "banks are coming to save the day hooray", give me a break. This is the oldest trick in markets - buy the rumor sell the news and they been robbing you for months!
There was no decentralisation from the beginning. When inexperienced teenagers were using their gaming PCs to obtain 1 ETH / day but now it'd take about a year to get 1 ETH with a good single-GPU PC... it means that the wealth was locked with the few first people who got in early.
Sure, the early investors should be rewarded, but I never called this decentralisation.
I hope that one day, in a couple of years of now, there will be no whales anymore and only then we'll see real decentralisation.

The real Hodl'er of ETH are the ones who bought the ICO at 30 cents a coin. They probably sold most of those ETH's anyways and most likely less than 1% of those investors still have large quantites of ETH.

the mining reward from 3 to 2 ETH per block, with no price spike will be a big headache for regular mining community
I don't think that any country offers free electricity to its citizen but I know in Venezuela electricity is extremely cheap.
