Do you think it makes sense to wait for a further fall or is it already a sufficient level for the purchase?
Well can you predict the price of Ethereum, if yes then you can decide you should buy or not!
Otherwise price already very down and according to news ethereum could break the $50 line.
If you can afford loss then you can buy at this price or wait for the next fall.  Tongue

I do not know yet what price I could predict, now I would like to warn my subscribers about the possible fall, so that they refrain from buying. So I decided that there can arguments to support this conversation
I think that we need to look at the market as a whole, we still see only bearish sentiment, so the decline will obviously continue. It's a pity of course but I'm determined to wait some more time before you buy.

The next big Ethereum upgrade called Constantinople is now postponed to early 2019.
Apparently, the developer community wants to take a cautious approach and doesn't want to rush with the release.

https://coincodex.com/article/2730/ethereum-constantinople-upgrade-targeted-for-mid-january/

the mining reward from 3 to 2 ETH per block, with no price spike will be a big headache for regular mining community

things move quickly in crypto's world. Maybe for 2019 march things will be different.

I don't know..3 to 2 means 33% less. It's not so low..

Maybe things will become even worse with Bitcoin falling to $1000 or less. That would mean the others becoming even less than they are now.

Nobody knows

Now only mining people who believe in a better future or those who have free electricity remain in mining.
free electricity? where in the world is that? I also never knew ethereum mining was that lucrative

Those charts are not nothing more than to get some indication about the trend of market for that specific period of time. Since crypto is totally other kind of wild animal it keeps changes indicated in minutes. No one knows where is the bottom and will market will reverse. Ethereum looks good at this price but if you calculate risk properly it is good.

That is really strange who is showing the correct chart yesterday everyone telling finally it bottom out and hopefully it will get stable above $100 but today totally we have totally different story.

That's because Technical Analysis in crypto is 20% simplistic linear fitting and high frequency averaged filtering and 80% astrology.

The price is already so low that a 33% drop in mining reward isn't going to make anyone suddenly less happy. My small mining setup is officially in the red, thankfully it has paid for itself over the last couple years and I just have to worry about energy cost and occasional maintenance. I'll keep running to help secure the network but profitable it sure ain't right now.

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger

I know people that know people on Wall St. and I can assure you none of the exchanges is  building infrastructure for institutional crypto trading. Buying or selling any crypto coins or tokens is against the federal law in the US. This is one big manipulation this is fake news someone probably banks are paying the crypto news sites to spread these lies and then they are shorting big and when prices crash they buy your coins at lower prices. Everyone who is falling for this "institutionals are coming to save the day" is an absolute fool I can't describe it any better. And what the hell happened to decentralization suddenly everybody became from decentralist to centralist, "banks are coming to save the day hooray", give me a break. This is the oldest trick in markets - buy the rumor sell the news and they been robbing you for months!

There was no decentralisation from the beginning. When inexperienced teenagers were using their gaming PCs to obtain 1 ETH / day but now it'd take about a year to get 1 ETH with a good single-GPU PC... it means that the wealth was locked with the few first people who got in early.
Sure, the early investors should be rewarded, but I never called this decentralisation.

I hope that one day, in a couple of years of now, there will be no whales anymore and only then we'll see real decentralisation.

Trading ETH has been very profitable because it actually has more predictable moves and it moves in greater %'s than BTC, especially if you use a little bit of margin.

Looking at Bitmex's ETH perp contract look at how it had a quadruple top at $98, if you traded this you could of gotten a great risk/reward entry betting on the down size.

Same situation happened when the $100 support finally broke a few days back. Right now if you want to long you need to wait for it to close above the $98-$100 area.

Ethereum Constantinople Hard Fork to Come in Mid-January, Based on Dev’s New Agreement

https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-constantinople-hard-fork-to-come-in-mid-january-based-on-devs-new-agreement

So what happens to ETH we hold after the fork? How will we keep existing ones and get new forked ones?

It's not a chain split - it's an upgrade to the existing ecosystem. You don't have to do anything at all.

Yes, many people are thinking in a different way for chain split but actually, they updating the present blockchain software, which will help them to speed to transaction speed.

Further falls, really?
So, which price did you wait for? Below 0.023 BTC for each ETH (that happened days ago)?
It makes me laugh, honestly.
Do you think it makes sense to wait for a further fall or is it already a sufficient level for the purchase?
I wonder myself that when ETH rocket to 0.04 BTC or above this price point.

CMC volume of ETH is totally fake most of the top exchanges should be banned for wash trading, the real ETH daily volume from all exchanges is no more than 10 million dollars https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#markets

How to verify the trading status whether it's real of fake if you developed that kind of tool than share the original statics. It doesn't make any sense to count this as you are claiming there it looking good and nothing suspicious detected.
That guys was joking and he was probably a new account. Even if you are doing an analyzation to the binance exchange site properly and it will have more than 10 millions daily trade volume. Creating an FUD without any evidence. that was a joke
there is nothing wrong with CMC. binance exchange have great volume of eth coin trading daily and also not only binance other crypto exchanges having great volume. current price is just because bitcoin is going down you know when bitcoin rise all the alts go up with same percentage but when bitcoin go down alts will fall double then bitcoin. bitcoin is still the boss.
eth price will never stable here it will rise soon

i think that we will never know that happened. This drop have really no explanation. It's only speculation? It's only panic? I don't know, but there is no reason for this price.

NO reason. So i think it's only a matter of time.
Same here i am bit upset about crypto market and should be! journey with ETH & BTC ($1,400 - $85)   ($19k - $3,400)  Embarrassed
Weak hands selling their crypto assets or there is another reason that we can't find out.
Anyway Tom Lee said that BTC will reach $15k this year (this month).  Let's see!

I don't know who Tom Lee, and I don't care about that. but apart from all that why we have to believe it. What is the reason that makes him think BTC can be $ 15K this year?

come on, stop giving a speculation without proof. all that only worsened  this situation. we know ethereum prices so crazy right now, it's better to go to the market to buy some.
yes i think right now is the good time to buy more eth because eth price changed in one day with huge percentage and this time its going up
i have no idea that eth will go low or not but there is chance that eth could go low more but at the same time there are good chance to grow more it can touch 130$ in a very short time

Can't decide on this, do you have any certain price of selling in the near future?

I think it will help you determine if you should buy now or not.
