I think it's a very reasonable assumption that Eth was bought for the purpose of ICO participation ($30 -> $400 appreciation during the same time frame of ICO booms seems to support this as well).

Yes! Patience is key. The best advice is to relax. Try to forget about it. You need to buy and hold for the long term. I do believe ETH will reach 1000 and beyond, but it will not be in days, rather weeks or months cause it's not a get rich quick scheme.

This is what I call technological advancement, not the same inefficient institutions trying to lead technology on its ways.
