Crazy Year so far for Eth and all the altcoins, maybe 100 billion total marketcap by end of summer for all coins.

Yeah, banks will pour billions into every established centralized altcoin, so that people get distracted from the decentralized ones. Its okay. If banks give you free money get them! But take care, don't be the bagholder!

I hope banks will give me free money and push the ETH to $10,000.

That might happen too. If bitcoin gets to $1,000,000 banks could get so scared that they might try to push the ETHf to $10,000. One can never know how high bitcoin will go. That is why the safest play is sell ETHf and buy ETHc.

Ethereum is most usable token after Bitcoin and just looking at the few months performance and all the announcements by different billionaires makes me think that in next 3-6 months time frame Ethereum will be at $500. It will makes one after other new all time highs from now onward just mark my words.

If its the most usable token, then why isn't it being used yet?  Name one big project that is currently live and using ETH.

Because it is needed to operate hundreds of decentralized APPS, it is needed to send hundreds of other Tokens, do you need more usages?

I don't see a problem with this, if banks trow money there isn't any problem that's good, I'll still hold my eth for long.

It seems ETH is trying to get stable floor after some correction so many people pushing their savings into coin and I also think in next run it will go over $150 to get new ATH. Still promising for investment will be more valuable in next few weeks.

When I start online Ethereum wallet it starts synchronizing from the beginning of the blockchain. What is the way to save already done synchronization?

Ok. That is solved. The wallet saves the blockchain when it has synchronized to the last block. If the wallet it shut down before it, at next start the synch starts from the first block.  I guess.

I just did some rudimentary calculations of ICO price and current ETH price.  1 btc into the ico in '14 would now be worth 170k USD?  Shocked

Wish I would have invested instead of falling for the etherium fud at the time.

I also have same thought because much hard to make money from big whales they just spread the FUD about any great project. But I think now this train has been passed and we look over the next project which has potential.

shorting both eth and etc now after watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUUVlatCvp0&t=447s

its not just fud right? I saw how quick the department of justice killed several poker sites and stuff (ub/ap and fulltilt). If legal actions beginn against vitalik and co. ethereum will be worthless

given that i think its way overpriced. would consider buying at 25-30 range again.

anyone jumping off to? I had 10% of my networth in eth from the very beginning...

I bought ethers when price was at $2. It is now above $7. Go Ethereum go!

That is right. I bought some when the price was about $2, now it is about $98.

I'll increase my ether stash now at $7 and when it gets at $98 I'll sell.

I would like to withdraw my ETC and ETH from exchance to my paper wallets.

There is just something strange. This is ETC paperwallet generator.
https://classicetherwallet.com/#generate-wallet

It demands first to create a password and write it down. And addition to print the just genererated paper wallet, it demands to download and save two files

JSON File (unencrypted)
and
Keystore/JSON File (Encrypted · Mist/Geth Format · Recommended)

In the case of ETH
https://www.myetherwallet.com/

This demands also to create first a password, write it down and before printing paper wallet download one file.
Keystore File (UTC / JSON)
________________________

I do not understand. Why these passwords and files? I have not found other cryptos to have such. Could those files to be simply printed on paper? They seem to be just text files. Or has they to be to stored on USB stick?

This is ETH paper Wallet generator.
https://ryepdx.github.io/ethaddress.org/#/

This I understand. It is like other cryptos paper wallets. No passwords, no files to be downloaded and saved. Is there available this kind of generator for ETC also?

__________________________

To check that I have access to my paper wallets, the only way is that I import the private keys to the online wallet?

Can anyone tell me when Ethereum pos starts and will it stake if I keep them on exchange or should I need to keep them on MEW for staking?

I do not believe that Ethereum PoS will be the same easy going PoS that we're used to from other coins.

From my understanding there are penalties involved if you attempt to attack the network via staking, etc... I think that you might want to reconsider letting a third party stake on your behalf.
