vitalik said they sold 90% of there ETC in the last 6 month.
they also sold 1 mil of there eth and they have now there value in btc
they seemed to bet on btc rather  then on eth or etc

So the ETC price rise will benefit the ETH Foundation?

The Ethereum Foundation has it's own funds, these are the funds are what is discuss in the public domain by the crypto community.
