Why do people still buy this scam? It is already hacked to death. It should have been dead by now. Or is it already?

So dead, if you have any ETH you can send them to me for disposal....

That is right. There are too many fuds here. I will accept to buy the Ethereum for 0.001. But you can sell it for 0.021 now.

You are right. These could be the shorters. If the price rises further, they will lose more, so they want to talk down the price.

I think you are mistaking ETC with ETH.....   ETC = Ethereum Classic is the dead coin. Its circling the terdlet bowl along with the Tidy Bowl man....

Don't care - only interested in Ethereum.

The entire team is:

Vitalik Buterin → Inventor of Ethereum, protocol developer and researcher
Gavin Wood →Lead C++ developer
Jeffrey Wilcke → Lead Go developer

Primary non-development members include:

Anthony Di Iorio → Founder and Executive Director of the Bitcoin Alliance of Canada, Bitcoin Decentral, KryptoKit
Mihai Alisie → Founder of Bitcoin Magazine and Egora
Joseph Lubin → Software engineer, Quantitative Analyst
Stephan Tual → Founder of Ursium, Communications

You left someone off.....

You tell um Mr H  Cheesy

It say he was CEO of Ethereum for 6 months and left in May - according to Linkedin page:

https://www.linkedin.com/in/charles-hoskinson-1a95a4b4

Maybe incorrect.

Mr H was there, but they parted company early on.  Just did not fit in.  He was too honest for them.  Wink

Oh,

I thought it is more akin to the way the head of Litecoin got a very lucrative job offer to work on BTC sales, instead of developing Litecoin Cheesy

Old tactic - poach some staff from the top of an alternative organisation Grin

"The Effect on the ETC Price When the initially available White Hat DAO funds are combined with The DAO attacker's holdings, the result is that nearly 10 percent of the entire ETC supply is going to be able to be sold for the first time by September 2nd. This could potentially have a significant and negative impact on the ETC price and market cap. "I cannot speculate as to what the DAO attacker will do, but supply and demand calls for a price drop," Brave New Coin Head of Research, Tone Vays , told Bitcoin Magazine ."

The Whitehat Withdraw contract has been deployed at 0x2b6d2a92495ee2e5817e37a82c8110a9a6fd8499 . 4,171,615 ETC have been transferred and are now available to be retrieved by any DAO Token Holder who had Tokens at the Hard Fork.

Reminder, to retrieve your share of ETC please use the following options:

https://blog.bity.com/2016/08/29/how-to-use-sign-for-the-whitehat-withdrawal/
http://www.myetherwallet.com/#the-dao
Directly call the withdraw() function of the contract in the ETC chain from your DTH at the time of the hard fork with the following argument:

beneficiary: An ETC address you control where the funds will be sent to. This can also be an exchange deposit address.

percentageWH A number ranging from 0 to 100, stating the percentage of your funds you would like to give as donation to the whitehat group

A great Q&A is available here: http://ethereum.stackexchange.com/questions/8338/how-do-i-convert-my-the-dao-tokens-into-ethers-on-the-ethereum-classic-chain

We also updated the last blog post: https://blog.bity.com/2016/08/29/whitehat-withdrawal-contract-last-update-before-deployment/

EDIT:

make sure you give enough gas: at least 200,000
use lowcase for the addresses

As a digression: the reason why Wallet-QT data is placed in the "appdata" folder on Windows OS's, is because it is in Microsoft guidelines for the developers of Apps.

Therefore,

For information about relocating the entire "appdata" folder on Microsoft OS's to a secondary hard drive, a person should be posting the question on Microsoft's own Forums.

hi all!!!
i'm on windows 7 64bit with Mist wallet
it is possible to move blockchain from %appData% to other HDD???
there is something like bitcoin -datadir="folder dir" parameter??

thank you

UP UP UP...

no one can help here plz???

You seem to have a "unorthodox" view of ANNs - the individual was asking for a non-standard operation of a Wallet-QT on the Windows OS.

Furthermore, the individuals extra need is not a requirement for the successful operation of crypto-currencies.

Therefore, because it is unnecessary, there is very little or no interest in it on this ANN.

Equally, there may be security issues involved in operating a Wallet-QT outside its' specifications for Windows OS.

Consequently, for the individuals own benefit, he has been told to contact the Ethereum Foundation.

hi italian do i understand right you want to migrat your blockchain from one mashine to another ?
i tryed that becouse i got a mashine and didnt want to download the whole wallet again , which took me a week to get all the blocks on my laptop.

and no i didnt get it done had to reload the blockchain. copy and past didnt work

maybe you come to the etc thread where you find helpful people who are not to arogant to answer questions.
