this is not called updateDARK this is called EthereumDARK, so if the development team said the update will come it will surely come, but as of now lets use the existing infrastructures to keep this coin in the highs as the devs are working on the updates.

If you want to be super cautious, you could send your ethd to another wallet just long enough to encrypt your pos wallet.

You'll lose your funds if you forget your encrypting key. But encrypting your wallet is just a (good) way to secure the access to your funds. So when you encrypt, write down your key and keep it in a safe place.
