you are wrong. diff will be adaptive like this and can't happen the thing anymore that diff is stuck at 8 while the price is still low yet.

Having it on such a slow exchange like coinedup doesn't help. Good god is it slow.

The block 42218 triggered the diff retarget script on block 42219. It's an hardcored diff change the pools can't detect. But they are right for the next one =)
