So if I have a chaindata folder can I import that into another computer to see if there are coins on it?

also how to import an address from one computer to another??

The easy way is just copy the keystore. Then just put it on the other computer.

2g Gtx 750ti is only $190 is this an older model card? (I'm an and guy)
The Gtx 980ti is like $979

http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf

Is there a massive difference is hash rate?

I'm looking to buy 2 more cards hense the questions as my business will now he running the computers and hense paying the elec

The 750ti and 980ti has the same type of core (Maxwell). The big difference is the number and the clock.
And many algo, the 980ti can get 6-7 times higher than the 750ti but the 750ti only consume about 60 W compare to 250 W for the 980ti or almost 400W for the 280x

400 watts on 280x, the TDP is 250 watts. I get around 190~200 watts on my HD 7970, which is the same as the 280x. You mean the 295x2, which is about 450 watts.

whats the cooling on the 750ti like?

On hashimoto algo 980ti is like 270x

Wow ok I get 21 on my 270x and that cost me $200

Seems a bit steep for the nvidia version

Have two 270s (non x), they get 35mh combined.

On hashimoto algo 980ti is like 270x

For real?
Personnally, I have 750ti and 960 G1 Gaming (2GB each). Getting about 9 MH / 750ti and 17-17.5 / 960..
Paid 120 CAD$/750ti and 215 CAD$/960 G1.

I know that on Quark, a 980ti makes more that 5 times what a 750ti does, but never heard about a 980ti on Hashimoto...

For the nVidia, the most important is the number of Cuda Core and the Clocking (Core and Memory), according to what I use, the VRAM do not affect hashrate a lot

Noob question how the hell are people running 3GH rigs? On eth there are 10GH rigs?

Are these people seriously running 100+ 290x cards??

I have 4 cards running and only reaching 90MH :-(

Yes there are people seriously doing that. I have 4 GPUs myself though.

290x here close to $500 a card, let's say it's pushing 25-29MH

That's looking like $50k just to get the MH close to 3GH the the PSUs.

My god!!!
There are farms with 500+ GPUs, in China 1000+ is not unusual.

Make me wonder if it's even worth it for us....I would have said small but now I say insignificant miners

Worth it Wink At least where I live... About 0,05 USD$/KWh

Mmmm food for thought.

I (Aus) get about .13USD

Almost the triple.. Ouch :O

Maybe they use something like this - http://cplonline.com.au/hp-753960-b21-nvidia-tesla-k40c-12-gb-module.html?gclid=CKXVg9-Y-scCFViSvQodp5gMww although it's still $14k a card!

hahaha I heard Tesla's card weren't that good for mining, better go with 980ti or 750ti Tongue
Atm, the 750ti is the best hashrate/Watt card Smiley
