looks like I had to forward TCP and UDP ports! ond not only UDP to get more nodes!

now I have 20 peers and less block -> null!

then my balance changes, then i get null nodes. then i get 1 node, then my coin count is reduced. this should have been tested more.

How do you think we should have tested it more?

I went from 4 to null to 2 and now at 3, after putting those nodes in. I hope this helps out and not put me on the wrong chain....

thats what sht did, I hard coded like 5 nodes from around the world, ill hardcode some more in the morning.

Block 2660+

Forwarding port 42786 on my router really helped to connect to peers!
Make sure you have port 42786 on your "realworld" (the one that shows on http:/wimi.com) IP forwarded on your router to your wallet machine IP.

To these that are asking what the ports are:

42786 - this is the port where all wallets (mine, yours, john's and mary's and everybody else's) "talk" to each other

9656 - the port where your miner connects to mine. or you can connect and run commands to your miner from another PC from you LAN
For security reasons the latter should NOT be forwarded. Otherwise is like you are letting somebody else to sit on your computer with the wallet running.

Holy shit dude thank you. Added every peer that popped up with no avail. Added these and blam! Now on the right chain. Went from 1000s of exp to a flat 0 but atleast im on the right chain! Thanks again

I added those node, went from 4 peers to null to now at 2 peers....lol
