Annnnddd, I'm officially on board.....appreciate the coins crazyivan Smiley

I figure why not be in both ETH and Factom.....seems like a novel idea to me.

Glad to be here!!

With BTC going to a new ATH you might want to reconsider your gladness as FCT is going to take several more heavy hits.

Already prepared for that, brother!  I've just started nibbling.....never said I went all in Smiley

Well, I m officially out of Factom, I do not own a single Factoid anymore.

This huge M2 delay made me think Factom s big time stuck. Also, I seriously do not see anything Factom can do which cannot be performed by Ether anyway and Ether DOES DELIVER on time.

Good luck to the Factom team and all Factoid holders, I hope you do end up with a profit.

They didn't ask us for any payment nor to be added to the list. When the list went up it had 100 companies and projects listed already. They tweeted at us saying congrats for #21 on the list.

Please use your brain.  They don't ask everyone for money only the smaller players. If you are big enough they need you on the list as a selling point.

Anyway I was referring to the list of most influential people - if you can't trust one of their lists to be accurate how can you expect any of their other lists to be accurate?

Factomproject on #24 on The 100 Most Influential Blockchain Companies ...
http://richtopia.com/companies/top-100-blockchain

Factomproject loses its position and moved with 21th place to 24th place. It is sad.

Interesting, how do they calculate the ranks?

They ask people to pay them.
Could you please expand a bit-I am not getting this ranks calculation.

All I know is that they were asking people for money/BTC to get put on the list (of most prominent people).  Several prominent bitcoiners asked to be removed from the list of most prominent people when they found out.  If they are asking people for money it implies the companies got listed the same way.

They didn't ask us for any payment nor to be added to the list. When the list went up it had 100 companies and projects listed already. They tweeted at us saying congrats for #21 on the list.
This is how we found out there was such a list, we simply tweeted it ourselves too. They have yet to contact us for anything else but keep tweeting to us every week mentioning the rank we achieve.

If you read carefully anyone can add themselves to the list, their admins get back to you after a week if you are approved or not. If they ask for money at that stage we don't know.
This is our side of the story.

And this is how the ranking works according to their page:
Quote
Our Blockchain list is an automatic algorithm based on social media influence, Klout scores and a secret recipe. We take into account various metrics from Twitter, Facebook, Wikipedia, Youtube, LinkedIn and Instagram. The list is determined by Artificial Intelligence using Machine Learning and gets updated each Monday. If you believe your organisations can arise a creative impulse in people (or you know a business that can), you can add organisations by clicking the ‘join’ button below. All entries are considered by our admins, and Richtopia reserves the right to accept or forbid organisations from the list as it deems fit.

Our first tweet is also featured on the page and we will keep retweeting if and when they do.

From a technical perspective, this is the healthiest I've seen the Factom charts in a long, long time.

I suspect we're in for an uptrend.

I dont think traders and speculators will let Factom go out of this nice +/- 5% loop. Great for ping pong trading.

The only thing which can break this trend if that fucking M2.

I don't think any company would be crazy enough to send their Chief Scientist to another Country to train a 2 day course when a critical milestone still hasn't been released?? Unless it's coming before June 20th,

makes you want to go hmmmm...

This could be exciting.  I presume you are referring to Thaddeus.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zVzw912wPo

The lightning network might be a lot closer than we think.

Haha, nice!  Grin

Didn't know that Brian was Chief Scientist.  Can't wait to hear him speak. Btw -- thanks for saving me $100 Smiley

Very bad that now can not see the exact amount factoids that remained. Before this could be done through the Factom explorer, but somehow this line was removed from there. Angry

run factomd and fctwallet then run:
Code:
factom-cli properties

Went through the steps.. here is the factoids total.
