I'm still collecting emails from people interested in testing milestone 2. Let me know if you want to be one of the first outside the team to play with it. We had success with the community testing milestone 1 back in August 2015.
The main difference between Ether and Factor is Ether PoW. Everyone with any kind of decent GPU s mining Ether now which increases user base which also buys, sells or trades Ether.
Apart from that, both coins still have a lot of to deliver and I think Factom is on the right track.
Patience my friends, nothings gets build over night.
BTW, I m not so sure Ether so overpriced. If they do go PoS this summer, this will significantly reduce their daily supply.

For all the business alliances that have been forged, I too am surprised with the stable price. I think Factom is under the radar for most altcoin investors/speculators as it's in Bitcoin Project Development section of the forum, not the altcoin section. Definitely Factom is still very undervalued and their news is always BIG.
Stable price of Factoid (FCT) because the Factom developers are not manipulated by price FCT, do not invest in FCT course. The rest of the team just put money in the course of their altcoins, such as the Ethereum or DASH. For example, Vitalik Buterin and his team are simply manipulating their Ethereum price, so we see the Ethereum is now overpriced. If developers Factom would have manipulated the FCT price (manipulation on good news), then we would have already seen the cost FCT at least $5 per coin or larger.

How do you know that "Vitalik Buterin and his team are simply manipulating their Ethereum price" ? Any proof of this claim would be interesting to see.

I checked at the other side if these companies have published the news about cooperating with Factom(in my opinion this would show they are serious). Couldn't find anything about Ancun(everything is in chinese, very difficult to search), but Isoftstone has announced it on their website in chinese on February 1st: http://www.isoftstone.com/content/index.aspx?nodeid=941&page=ContentPage&categoryid=0&contentid=4783 i think their partnering up looks pretty good(Use google translate).

I thought there would be at least a minipump after the notary services thing !
I thought this as well. However, do not forget Polo Factom market is heavily but I mean HEAVILY controlled by bots and influenced by pumpers and dumpers. As long as some huge whale even does not move the price or some large player traps these bots and moves the price, nothing s going to happen without their permission.
From your argument, it turns out that we will stand in one place and the price can not go up because of any news.
Yes, this is my line of thinking. Why? Cause bots love ping pong trade. up 3% then down 3% and repeat the entire pattern. This is the way they make money. The only way to beat them is to trap their funds when they sell and then push the price way up so they cannot buy lower and repeat the selling cycle.
I hate speculators, they disturb markets and this is why I wait for some major news to push the price up. Unless you want to buy 100k Factoids more and trap their funds.
