We are trying to contact the original developer. We are workign on a ANN thread for gathering all the informations.
Please don't get confused: We are not the ppl trying to change it to sha256 like anounced on bter. If you check a few pages before you can see my posts and teillagory with others.
We will provide updated informations soon.
So, development on the real, original TIPS will continue?

We are currently compiling and adding TIPS to Cryptopia, its about half way though syncing.
We think its a good idea to add TIPS to help this community combat the hostile takeover on the other thread, this way users who want to keep the old TIPS can use Cryptopia and the ones who want to use/swap the new TIPS can handle that on BTER.
It will take a few more hours to sync, but once its done it will be ready for deposits.
We will now remove it from the vote list since its skipping the vote round so dont panic if you cant find it

The community has spoken overwhelming in support of leaving it alone. Yet, BTER, in all it's wisdom, has teamed up with scammers to defraud user's of their deposits, and "replace" them with worthless, unproven, fraudulent fairy tale coins.
Once the wider crypto community as a whole finds out what BTER has done, I predict they will pay a hefty price.
What is worse than an exchange that goes under? One that continues to operate while teaming with scam artists to defraud.
Shame on you BTER! shame on you!!
