Blockchain started syncing, then I encrypted the wallet...and now it won't connect to anything.  addnode=67.212.70.89 is in fudcoin.conf.  I built fudcoind from GitHub source on Ubuntu Server LTS 14.04.  Are there more nodes that can be added to fudcoin.conf, or should I just let it keep running until it finally connects?  It's not like Fudcoin will fit in with MinerSwitcher just yet as it isn't on any exchanges, but I have some of my hashpower dedicated to it for at least a little while...don't think I've gotten in this early on a coin ever.

Edit: Never mind:

Code:
salfter@files:~$ fudcoind getpeerinfo

To whoever is mining this coin with 34 TH/s... you do realize the entire network is only 40 TH right?  You could lower your hashpower considerably and still get most of the coins, for a lot cheaper.

ive been mining for like 1 hr on suprnova and havent got a coin yet what is the deal

Im pretty sure they are using SHA-256 D. The algo is SHA-256

I tried throwing power at supernova and couldnt connect. I am on the NOMP pool now.

SHA256 is wrong, it is always SHA256D as in Double.

Suprnova is configured correctly, check your rigs if you cannot connect, my Antminers and MRR are running fine

You know FAR more than me about all of this. I admit that freely.

I just couldnt get it to connect but I am sure its something I am doing. Your pool has always been top notch.

Cheers

No problem mate, i was just wondering and checked it formyself and couldn't find any problem.

Explain that to people like me who can't understand all this technical mumbo jumbo. What's the difference?

I clicked the button in the clone software that said sha-256 so it should be sha-256.

I am the real Carson Cloak.

SHA-256 = broken/hackable Cryptoimplemenation

SHA-256D = Double of the above - not hacked / secure Cryptoimplementation as used by Bitcoin/Peercoin etc.

SHA in Bitcoin is often abbreviated falsely as SHA256 - this is the "common name".. Its is SHA256D.

Its like when people talk about cars - One says I drive a Series 3 Bimmer - the other one says I drive a Series 3 Bimmer 330ci Smiley
