Garlic Coin is the most profitable GPU mineable coin to mine at the moment. Does anyone know where the price will be in a month?

The low power consumption is great.
But the mining generate very high peaks in power% here (not infrequently 125%, with official ccminer and nVidia cards).
My rigs just shutdown/reset quite often even if I set low core clock and use curve for setting it (and I not set it higher than the factory settings over 900mV).
Also tried with lower mem clock but nothing, my rigs often shutdown.
I using lots of algo and there is no problem with them, but now I'm clueless and don't know how to mine GRLC safely, but efficiently.

Any idea?

I have exactly the same problem on rig 1080ti, rig 1060 are fine.

It resets my PC even if I lower TDP 55, mem -500, CORE 0

For other algo, everything is ok. TDP 80 CORE +115 mem -500 / + 500 all stable

Hello i have the exacte same problems with 12 1060's with normal settings (no overclocks)

it seems after i've been monitoring the watt meter i can confirm there's a huge power spikes! i hope they find a solution to this problem amongst a fix for AMD cards because they hash low too

Is anyone else having trouble mining this coin right now?
I keep getting errors similiar to "reject reason: low difficulty share of 1.1285077811500455e"
I have tried 2 pools now same problem, it starts ok then quickly comes up with that message.

***Sorry i found out that i was mining to the low difficulty port like an idiot, ha ha only wasted an hour on it, tha'll teach me to try and do more than 1 thing at a time****

***That wasn't actually the problem, I was trying to mine the old algo and not Allium***

how come the network hashrate skyrocket to 22.7007 GH/s?? without AMD and ASICS??

algo changed, now GPU farms can hammer it
This is great, no more monopolize from ASIC miners and more widespread of holders of GARLICOIN.

Hello, began mining Garlicoin, but nonetas why then do not come to tradesatoshi, what's the matter?

Tradesatoshi GRLC wallet on Maintenance   (Please check block before putting back online due fork 707 021518) system need some time to conversion to new hardfork. Mining to Garlium wallet - all working fine. i use garlicpool.org - all simple and understandably. 14x1060=30mh/s = about 5,5 grlc per hour. i think it perfect mining result.

Please write your .bat file on garlicpool

It's been a couple of hours stable TDP 50% MEM-502 CORE 0 -i 19

if I add TDP or CORE or -i 20 immediately restarts the PC.

When using x86 it drops too, i have to use x64.

That picture looks terrible

try 18.  hardly any hash difference with 19.

Thanks for your tip & help reducing intensity helped a lot, my power peaks are gone!
But one of my rig now instant restart (since intensity was reduce to 19), I don't know why, with other algos there are no problems.
(tried with 0 core -500 mem and 50 TDP also)

Clueless!
I'm told that the new algo causes the following:

AMD cards..same hash rate as before the fork

Nvidia cards ... 5 to 10x the hash rate of before the fork and of AMD cards now, due to the algo change

ASIC's... back to space heater status

is this rumor or fact....and if fact is this just a tweak/fix for the cards...or is this just

the way the mop'd flopped for AMD folk

thanks (I'm back to space heater ASIC'S now ...asking for a friend with GPU's)

AMDs are underperforming atm due to sgminer incompatibility. According to the devs they are working on a fix.

Thanks! I'll tell my buddy. He will be relieved!

Also 1080 Ti and 1070 Ti rigs here. I think it's not a power supply problem.
E.g.: With 8 1080 Ti the power consumption with max TDP is ~300W * 8 = 2.4 kW.
I'm using 2.4 kW server PSU's (little oversized at "normal" usage) what I tested with 2.8 kW (peak) power and there was no problem.
+ with GRLC, the peaks don't come on every card at the same time. For me the allium algo is a silent killer.
Silent because low power consumption and killer because of the extreme high peaks.
