I'm impressed with the current success of the presale. I would have expected the current btc uncertainty/pumping to make most presales/icos perform poorly, but I guess it just shows the potential which investors see in Gatcoin. This is a good sign.

Yes, whats the bonus or price of the presale? I'm glad it's only 15 million coins vs the 115 million in the regular sale though. Too many ICOs are selling presale for too cheap and it kills the price after the ICO ends.
Most ico do pre sales, gets them initial investments needed for development and market the ICO. Unsure how much was sold of gatcoin, check trade chats and you can make a guess how big the discount t was.
Actually, their private sale had a bonus of 35%. 70,000,000 GAT were sold with a lock-up period of 6 months, when I remember right.
6 months lock up? that's better for holding period, leaving dump section from some investor.
better news is, holding 6 months will give more profit

Presale is almost at 30%, really nice!
Still some weeks to go, so I think this will be a good sale. After the Segwit2x fork money will come back to altcoins and ICO's.

Do you mean 30% of the cap of pre-sale? Pretty good news if they seem to get funds relatively easy. A lot of ICO's seem to struggle getting funds
And they didn't announce the demo yet. Probably with it, funding would be massive.
Can't wait to try it but the real deal I'm waiting for is the SSL blockchain sometime next year

I had a look at the article, but couldnt find how the SSL technology is related to Gatcoin. Is this technology for every blockchain project, or do they have to implement the technology and is Gatcoin willing to do that?

If I'm not mistaken, I think in the meantime it be will just exclusive for GATCOIN, but I have no doubt same technology will be implemented in the future by other entities.

Haha, good that you don't know about the private investors bonus in most of the ICOs.
I don't see that much of a problem with this bonus. They have a reasonable hardcap for the pre-sale and only sell a small part of the tokens with that bonus.

Gatcoin go really well for the pre sale, near 30% raised, its pretty nice in this period. And its just the pre sale, don’t forget the ico after that, with more marketing and more visibility and after a sucessfull pre sale. Gatcoin has a lot of argument to know a great sucess and to go very far.
Even now there are a lot of reason why you should invest in presale, i cant imagine how popular might ICO get after few announcements. They still have a lot of time to improve their marketing strategies.
I'm sure there will be some great announcement in the future.

You can bet on that, they will release demonstrative app before ICO, we already seen a couple of screenshots of that (with those "coffee tokens")

Why is the pre sale doing this well? I have not yet seen a banner or promotion by GATCOIn, so I wonder how investors know about it?
Well, there is quite some activity here in the forum and I am sure the team behind Gatcoin isn't deedless and is promoting their project on different conferences or events.

Contrary to what some have said, I think the 29% are not bad, leaving 27 days to the end of the pre-sale, Gatcoin remains in the scenario even though not very conducive to ICOS, this is good, shows resistance and programming prior to the project, even for unforeseen instability

I think ICO really need to start planning for these forks. they're disrupting the market too much and investors prefer to invest in bitcoin instead of ICO's
Any respectable ICO would be working on their product and marketing months/years before they start an ICO. BCH hardfork was announced a week before it happend, BTG like 2 months? Segwit 2x 3 months? Change you whole plan because of it?
