I was in a private forum of investors and I hear about some potential competitors, but Gatcoin seems way ahead in term of partnership and potential.

Oh really? Can you please share this information about the potential competitors. I also think Gatcoin has a big potential but I like to investigate the potential competitors..

What private forum you mean? How I can join to this forum?
I am really interested to hear about this too ! I only saw one ICO that have close idea like this one but it is safe to say they are really way behind , I even forgot there name , Just came cross it by luck . I have big feelings that this ICO will be something very big . Anyway I will try to remember the other project name and will post it if it come to my mind .

I think everything could be tokenised in the long run.
I even think with blockchain technology even tokenezing student cards is an option.
They should just use an address which is connected to the Gatcoin blockchain and that has special tags (like student or something)

I've heard Andreas Antonopoulos once say he can see a future, when kids in primary school create tokens them self that get value to trade kid stuff. Like marbles, or Pokemon cards also
had a trade function for kids. Interesting stuff to think about Smiley

Andreas is cool... well now that you mention the tokenisation of everything could be luring just around the corner.
Ive read the book of Melanie Swann (blockchain) and it blew me away with the possibilities .. that's also why I think that if Gatcoin delivers what they are saying, well then they can become really big Smiley

it seems they know targeted a specific field for their product, as i can see they have already a lot of connections. Maybe in the future they could expand on other areas

What do you mean with a specific field they are targeting? And what do you have in mind with expand?

at the moment they are focused on marketing, with retailers for example, when somebody is buying an item the retailer reward him with some tokens for it.

This system they have could be used in other sectors as swell for different purposes, a stupid example to give you an idea: A big company could reward employee with tokens beside the salary, the token could have then a purpose that give you access to some tangible benefit.

There are infinite possibilities.

Yes, that's true, there are infinite possibilities but if they would have a real use case, I don't know. I would be happy to use them for shopping, and if possible in future for changing my stupid airmiles to the ones I need on time Cheesy

Its true that gatcoin could also develop some collectible content, and maybe they will, but I think that the tokenized coupons and voucher market is really huge in gatcoin can focus on that market to do a lot of things and make a lot of benefit.

Having real trading cards, stickers whatsoever that you can use when you come together to trade and play with them is something completely different than having a virtual token on a platform. But yeah, as I said, this is my old-fashioned opinion and I think the trend won't stop and we could eventually see such tokens in the future.

It is possible to combine physical collectibles and virtual ones. Like Lego Dimensions, Disney Infinity, Skylanders and Amiibos.

GATCOIN could be tapping into this AR collectible toy/card game crossover industry. Although the popularity seems to be waning. http://www.the-gamers-lounge.com/eric-kubik/2016/5/15/is-the-death-of-disney-infinity-signaling-the-end-of-an-era

Ok, seems like I am getting old  Grin

Nevertheless I think this whole thing we are discussing right now isn't really connected to GATcoin. They want to make tokenized coupons and vouchers you can use or trade, not really collectibles for kids.

lol, also for me this collectible idea is a bit strange, but I'm maybe too old too...

humans are hunters and collectors, this is in our genetic pool. thats why collectibles are always very well sold Smiley

look at popheads for example Smiley

For that to come true, either the process of creating tokens has to be simplified, or primary school kids need to become smarter. Although it currently takes just a few minutes to create an ERC20 token with some copy/paste magic.

Even when the token creation process is that easy, in my opinion kids should do other things than trading digital tokens. But thats just my old-fashioned opinion.

Children have been trading collectibles and consumables for as long as I can remember. It happens naturally. Although many businesses take advantage of that selling products to children that are designed to be traded, it still teaches them skills they can use later in life.

In less than 2 weeks it is Halloween. Guess what, the day after Halloween it is Candy Trading Day. Check out this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLNplefdGKo

So why not extend trading by children to tokens? At least they won't get rotten teeth from all that sugar. Wink

Since a lot of children already have smartphones nowadays, I can see businesses creating apps on the GATCOIN platform specifically for children. It is really not that different from the tradings cards and sticker books they have now.

There are several mobile apps for card collecting - like the real ones, but in a device. While I find it's somewhat not a satifying experience, it seems to be working.

I don't think everything will be tokenized, not in the Gatcoin sense. But I do think this model might become standard for promotions in the future.

Yep, kids should be sports betting, playing in casinos, smoking weed and having sex!

Just kidding. When I was a child I also collected and swapped cards with other friends but that's simply too far from making money out of crypto.
