Has anybody sold or bought WTT @ HitBTC, or is this just a contract traded there?

WTT tokens that HitBTC sells - are IOY (I owe you) - which are futures, and there is no information when they will release them.   Maybe in April, after Giga watt completes all facilities.   If you buy, you will not be able to withdraw for unknown period of time.

HitBTC support is awfull, they simply don't reply on question When wtt will be released.

GigaWatt tokens are the DEFINITION of a utility token. I'm 100% sure this lawsuit will go nowhere. WTT tokens are tied DIRECTLY to power provided for mining rigs, and is currently up and running as a utility token for those of you lucky enough to have rigs deployed already. On top of that, they are required to hold excess WTT in escrow until they have the matching power up and running to support it, which is why the latest batches are taking so long.

FUD all you want, I'm confidant GigaWatt will be a premier mining provider going forward.
Hope so!  Otherwise this lawsiut may impact gigawatt badly.  Those who raised the lawsuit will only spend big money on the lawyers. I am sure.

An yes, GW should increase the quality of customers' support.

All this FUD was exactly the same when genesis mining started. Now them fudsters are where ?
Totally agree.  Delays are painfull, but Gigawatt is a Pioneer in this type of hosting.   Can anybody name another company carrying out same complicated hosting model, without delays?

I did asked support when I can send them my own miners. They responded Late March or early April. I don't see why I can't send them my own miners NOW since I can rent my WTT tokens & NOT all of my WTT tokens being utilised as I am writing.
They have a long waiting list for the current customers with miners bought from Giga-Watt, so they don't accept other miners.  They plan to finish deployment of the queue somewhere in March i think, and after this will resume accepting other miners.

Got my batch 4 tokens & immediately started getting them rented out. I've also started earning little less than 24 hrs. Is there a way to change the crypto address where the payment will be sent out? I don't recognise those address on the dashboard at all.  I did asked support when I can send them my own miners. They responded Late March or early April. Yes, you can change payment address on the dashboard.  Press any coin symbol, and then press SEND, and then put your address into Wallet section, like on the picture  here:

That's one way to look at it...but you still have people that purchased it under the premise that they are guaranteed to receive passive income by renting the tokens out, so I don't see why you would be so confident one way or the other.

All Gigawatt had to do was refund the entity that requested the refund and they probably wouldn't even be dealing with this.  They have verbiage in the whitepaper that explains they will refund based on certain circumstances, and those circumstances likely apply in this scenario.  Now this thing is slowballing, and there are def scenarios where this could become a nuisance.

I know nothing about US law but can't believe this is promising for SilverMIller.

Great  Roll Eyes This nightmare is only getting worse. The part about Tokens being a security, and Giga-Watt breaking the law with possible actions by SEC is very interesting.

They are being sued! Good luck Giga-Watt and especially Dave Carlson, if they weren´t so incompetent, it could have been on of the best ICOs out there

People still waiting on Batch1 mners! 7 Months after payment. They still not even half way on their timeline... Tokens not getting rented out.

Only one positive note, they update their dashboard for users, so now it´s not extremely crappy and useless.

Shocked  Wowsers...first and foremost, nice find.

This is kinda crazy, this doesn't necessarily spell WTT's demise automatically, but these kinda things def don't help.  Even when you (WTT) win a class action suit it can still be a financial drain.  These kind of things will happen when you overpromise and underdeliver in business.

Welp, if you still believe in this thing, the prices may be coming down in the near future Cheesy .  I for one haven't given up hope on this thing.  While I sympathize with investors that have been led on for months on end, this project still has upside if they can finish this before they go bankrupt (lol).  They'll definitely have to repair their relationship with consumers, but money hungry miners will love WTT when it's fully operational.

You have to wonder though, considering all of the things that WTT hasn't factored into their planning, how much more in the future have they left out that will cause them to stagnate at times?  One can only hope they'll be much more critical of planning and development going forward or these kind of delays and problems will persist.

Conceiving, designing, and building an entire, unprecedented, highly complex technology company from scratch as you simultaneously pioneer a brand new industry is a piece of cake, right? Anybody can do it! Especially when, after you've been operating the basics for four years in total compliance with the government, government regulators show up with a sudden, surprise roadblock. Create everything, from business model to physical premises to 100% accurate payment system to user interfaces... Work non-stop for months to years. Have nothing to imitate. Build a team. Employ a lot of people. Bring money from all over the world into the U.S. and Washington State. Pay a lot of taxes to this government that takes over your business and thwarts your extremely hard work, innovation, creativity, courage, initiative. Get scathing insults from people who have never attempted to do anything very hard and will never be the first to invent something unprecedented. And think three months is a long time. (And don't understand contrarian investment strategy.)

Can't agree more with you. Let them all mine at home and pay the retail power costs if they think GW is so incompetent.

Ooh La La, C'est Zoom!
They aren't telling the full truth, PSU's should be easily attainable by a company as big and professional as GW.

Well, if you always tell the full truth, I genuinely would be surprised. But hey this is the internet, so what do I know.

As for ordering PSUs, well, I guess if you are ordering a dozen or so, yes, may you can. However if you need to order hundreds you don't go to amazon or newegg or your favorite online retailer. You go to a reliable and reputable manufacturer and order them. This being the USA that typically means China or Taiwan. Since Giga-Watt is just another customer to those guys, and probably not a particularly big customer, they had to wait for their order to be processed. Once they purchased the PSUs they had to get them shipped to the USA, that's usually in a container since air freight is prohibitively expensive for big and heavy items. And then let's not forget customs. That depends a lot on what is being shipped and how the customs agents feel that day.

So in the grand scheme of things, I think Giga-Watt did OK getting the replacement UL certified power supplies as quickly as they did. Also remember that the PSUs are different depending on what miner was purchased. I would also imagine that Giga-Watt also purchased some additional PSUs to have on hand for repairs should any in use decide that they want to let out all their magic smoke and stop making the right voltages.

A family member signed up to the ICO 5 months ago and he was in Batch 3 to get his coins,  He's sent 3 emails and Giga Watt have not replied back.

He's been waiting to get his Tokens/Coins for months and no reply whatsoever and I believe there is now Batch 4 which people have got coins to.

Giga Watt would appreciate a reply as your service seems to be slow.  They would have been better investing in Altcoin's and would have made a better ROI.

Getting the tokens is fairly straight forward once you understand what needs to be done.

Your family member will need to do three things.

1. Go to https://giga-watt.com and sign up if they have not already done so. This will provide the important account at Giga-Watt to which you will transfer your tokens. Once the account has been created, login and stay logged in.

2. Login on the Cryptonomos web site https://wtt.cryptonomos.com

3. Follow the steps in thins link: https://medium.com/cryptonomos/transfer-wtt-between-cryptonomos-and-giga-watt-accounts-d60984514b0

It will take a few minutes for the transfer to complete, but it does work.

I would not be surprised if GW becomes insolvent and is forced to close all their operations. A company can stay unprofitable only for a short time.
.
.
.
Lets face it, we gave money to them to pacify their venture-lust. They had no clue whether or not this project would actually be profitable. They went out on a whim, and have destroyed their reputation in the crypto space, they have averaged a 2 star rating on their FB page. They have burned bridges with people who gave them $Thousands and now who are left with toasters that are collecting dust. .

All this sounds very concerning to me not that good very unprofessional!!!

I would really wonder about that.

Still waiting for a Pandaminer B3 and L3+ both September batches. My tokens are from the presale.

I got an early Christmas gift.  Roll Eyes  My September batch L3+ went online, or at least showed up on my dashboard, on 21-Dec. It's been mining diligently since then. I am now watching my LTC balance climb. yay.  Grin

If your miners are not online, it may be due to Giga-Watt trying to balance/maximize power use in the pods, among other things. This FAQ answers a fair number of questions and explains what's going on:

https://medium.com/gigawatt/recently-asked-questions-and-points-of-clarification-6ad1838433ff

Open a help-desk/support ticket and ask Giga-Watt directly what's going on with your specific deployment. You will eventually get an answer.

I also got three L3+ as an Christmas gift but unfortunatly one went missing again. Out of dashboard again :-(
