We are investingating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP.

Payouts disabled, you will not receive any coins to your offline wallet for the time being

We are investingating issues in the backend = We've got our heads up our arses?

Got a horrible feeling it might be a 'we got robbed so we're gone' scam brewing - the whole site is down, all pools. Glad I cash out of pools every 6 hours, don't trust 'em. Never have, never will. Same for exchanges, even before PoS.

Dont worry, I've been minining there for awhile now, they have always been reliable
I get payments sent every 30 minutes and still getting paid now.
P2P might be a good option if you cant trust some pool ops, they pay every block as soon as its found.

Yeah, this one sorted itself out while I slept, but for certain (after 36 hours) okaypool has gone with all the money Sad

Doing what I can, but hey, my role at Zeit Community keeps me WELL busy already  Wink

HEADS-UP

give.okaypool.com

as of bedtime last night it was refusing to load the pool site (502 gateway error) - but the payouts were still coming.

this morning, same from the site, miner still shows accepted shares, but no payments since 04:30

So I've joined a different pool (miningpoolhub) & that's working fine Smiley

I even found a better config for my HD7990 on the way (Now 4.13 Mh/s, before 4.03) Grin

NOTE:- I will be "leaving you" on Sunday night, but only for around 5 days. Gonna PoW me a healthy chunk of SummerCoin, 1st X-11 PoW/PoS hybrid.

Then I'll be back.

It IS important to me not just to make a little money, but to generate some 'good' in the world too.

Is this coin dead or was the discussion taken elsewhere?

Still people mining, no-one complaining or fud-ing, too may dicks selling too low (as usual), but apart from far too little input/inspiration from the dev team I'd say it was quite healthy. By morning I'll have over 200,000 in my wallet. And not one cent on any exchange. I expect most intelligent miners are doing the same.

That's healthy to a certain degree. If all communication ceases for too long however there won't be any cent on any exchange ever. This coin needs a lot of attention to get any where. An active community outside of miners busy mining will help greatly.

It seems that GIVECOIN FAUCET not popular here Cheesy

I've submitted, just to keep you happy.

... but imo faucets are a complete waste of everyone's time & effort, I already have 136,000 Give & am mining at around 1,000 /hr so what use is another 10 every 6 hours to me?

That's 0.0277777777777778 per minute compared with 16.66666666666667 per minute mining!

...or 0.17% if you prefer Wink

YES!

I've hit a "Henry" of a million coins* before bedtime Grin

Yeah, I'm unashamedly "4:20 'til I die" Wink

Hang me for it, ya f**ks!

... and yeah, it's not 'all about me'....

How about integrating this concept into the coin when it goes hybrid -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tithe

I'll joyously tithe to the "needs of those who have been F**ked by 'the system' " - I've BEEN one of them, several times.

How about YOU?

* 'Henry' - from Henry the Eighth, a reference to 1/8th of an ounce of an herb which gives solace to millions Wink

We want to know how you feel about forking to Pow/Pos.

Vote and tell us how you feel about it.

Grin

wow. U got a pretty heavy bag

Thank you Cheesy

All I have is a single HD7990 (it was my gaming rig in my 'Skyrim' days), but I've been mining steadily since launch +8hrs & it's all gone straight to my wallet.

I REALLY like X-11, it's the saviour of the 'little guy' like me Grin

Hi Mr Dev Cheesy

I'm all in favour of going hybrid, being a bagholder in PoS anyway with Zeit - it's SO nice to see thousands rolling into your wallet without any extra cost in elec-trickery Wink

The % is a key point, as is the 'maturity time' - they need careful consideration, and for sure you'll need to make sure you upgrade the wallets to have 'coin control', preferably before the change.

Just one Q, which I think I know the answer to, but it might save a lot of FUD later if it's made clear now -

Will the PoW coins I already have in my wallet qualify for PoS?

something need to change to revive this coin. Getting to be listed on more exchange and change to PoS is a good start
