This seems mega scammy.
So how did this dev end up mining the first two blocks? His job was just to have the linux/mac wallets made. What did you let him launch the coin too?

He changed the source code before compiling the wallet then the source code was loaded to github and the wallet files were sent to me. It never dawned on me to see if GOATCoin had already been mined mate.
So you didn't launch the coin yourself? Why don't you post your email exchange between you and this dev when you got the wallet back in <45 mins from when you told the blackmailer to keep quiet? That is some fishy fast damage control.
No I built the code and launched the coin myself. I made the mistake of using the source code he sent back with the compiled windows wallet. That's why I was in such shock when the blackmailer messaged me because that code didn't match the code on my computer mate. I'm barely benefiting from being the creator of this coin and at this point I'm honestly ready to call it quits. I've made about .4btc just from buying cheap GOAT and selling but being a dev has turned out to be a tad bit more than I can chew. If ANY trusted dev would be interested in managing GOATCoin contact me, I think I'm done. This went from great to hell mates

In my opinion we've destroyed the pre-mine now let's get on with business.
GOATCoin has published proof I believe.
My experiences with GOATCoin have been friendly, professional, and kind. GOATCoin wasn't designed for a pump and dump, and that's why I like it. Proof is in the pudding as they say.
Every other altcoin released in the last 6 months is already on an exchange and has a dozen pools, even before announcement.

To be honest, the fked dev story is a bit suspicious.
On the one hand: Why did he return the coins instead of selling them on allcoin/cryptorush for 0.001 BTC ? Yes it is cheap, but he could surely earn 2-4 BTC (which is still good money) from it and dissappear.
On the other hand if this dev is a good "friend" of the goat-team, he could probably return money, just of ethical reasons.

He was someone that I thought I could trust. And over 6,000 coins were missing from the wallet so I'm pretty sure he did sell some mate. He wasn't someone that I knew in person but he did appear to be someone of trust. To be honest, I could honestly stop with GOATCoin all together. But I feel like we have the potential to be something and make an impact mate. But it would be no problem at all to contact both exchanges and have them remove GOATCoin. (That isn't what I want and hopefully not what others want).
Edit: He returned the money because I threatened to go after him and have him prosecuted. There might not be a defined law for this to be a crime but in my opinion it is a type of scam.
