We asked many times for more exchange options in Marketplace and hope that Digital Gold team will listen to us as always. This is truly a problem and 50$-100$ or even more in transaction fees makes GOLD token really hard to use from economical standpoint, especially for small or even medium players. Especially, that concurrence doesn't sleep and there are many copycats already available on multiple chains and exchanges.
The transaction fee on Ethereum network is not fixed and it is not fault from GOLD team but if they can, I agree with your suggestion because nowadays, in crypto there are more blockchains on which we can enjoy very cheap transaction fees.
TRON, Solana and more. The transaction fee on Solana is free at least now if you withdraw from exchanges.
Of course we all are here because we trust Digital Gold team and they proven to be trustworthy and professional at least few times already, still GOLD token needs to be easy and cheap to exchange, if not, this will for sure slower the adoption and userbase.
They said multiple times that Ethereum blockchain will be their priority. If Ethereum can not fix fee issues, the GOLD team will consider to build and integrate other blockchain for GOLD marketplace. Is it a time for that, I don't know.
However, I agree that integrate one or two more chains for the marketplace is only for good. It will attract more users to GOLD marketplace. Not all investors can do big investment and as you said, small investment get hurts by expensive transaction fee.
