Thanks for the answer, a simple solution would definitely be to implant a layer 2 possibility in the background at the official GOLD marketplace. So you could send the GOLD tokens also relatively cheap. For more volume and exchange would also help another central exchange, maybe something like that is in planning?

Thanks for the reply, I'm also hoping for no new token and certainly not on a shit chain like BCS, but is the team thinking of a layer 2 option/solution in the background? This would also lower the transaction costs again.

I advise to continue this discussion in the ANN thread because actually we are talking there about this right now.

Maybe team will start to consider new chain when there will be enough voices raised.

I think this is the future to cross chain platform, especially for token like GOLD, because will be easily available to buy and sell with low cost and this is the biggest problem now, transaction costs on ETH, BTC are way too high and make smaller investments in GOLD token almost impossible.

I keep doing many transactions on ETH lately and I can already see impact of changes that was made lately.

Transaction fee seems to be equal now, there are no big differences between slow and fast as usually. now all 3 are same most of the time, looks like there is one price.

Still the price is not lower as 40 gwei, I wasn't able to get better rates lately, which makes 30$ transaction, simple one, more advanced swaps cost more ofc Wink

This is a lot, especially when you exchange smaller amounts of GOLD tokens.

I think it's the best thing to do, with the high adoption of NFT and DeFi, fees tend to remain at this level for a long time, which ends up harming small investors and practically making it impossible for them to adhere to the project (GOLD Token). The project is already consolidated in the market, it is a great time to reach new horizons.

If at some point in time the gas price rockets, just wait a few days for it to decline. As soon as ETH stops grow or fall, fees will normalize.

The GOLD token cannot fall significantly during this time. Gold has been growing all the time throughout its history. In theory, extra hold of GOLD token can bring more additional profit than loss.

Also fully agree with you that if GOLD token could be launched on BSC then the gates for DeFi integrations are open and I am sure GOLD token could see much more adoption. High fees on ETH and BTC don't help with that because these are the only two cryptocurrencies we can exchange GOLD token to and of course is too expensive, especially for smaller amounts.

The Ethereum London upgrade is not the solution to the gas problem, and the EIP-1559 is useless it makes Ethereum fees more worst because it will not go down due to the base fee+priority system Imagine the old transaction fees was just calculated based on bid and the fees will eventually rise if the Blocks are full and busy, But today even the blocks are not full or even half empty still the gas fees was the same. My $70 worth of Gold tokens will not enough to cover the gas fees.

If there's is no solution to this fee problem It will be good to use other Networks like BSC, Tron, Polygon, etc. that suitable for the Gold token requirements.

Team said that they will wait for effects to lower transaction fee from ETH upgrade. So far, that upgrade does not work as expected to control cheap transaction fee on ETH network.
