It does but it is nonetheless worrisome since you are the dev of GPUcoin.
Have you managed to get your own computer secured yet?
Do you fully understand how your personal computer was comprimised?
What steps will you take to ensure this doesn't happen to you again?

I can reasonably confirm "Whitey92d15b7" being this project leader..
He's also in touch with BCT staff as it seems and they are doing their due diligence too...

I have done a transaction with him early in this project....

If he was the Hijacker he:
1- Would've been able to answer a couple of my questions a lot easier than the Real Mr. White
2- Wouldn't have been able to answer a couple of my questions at all..

i'll keep those interested posted...

The site is legit (I'm a mod) and white's account there hasn't been affected. The link to the site is listed on several non-BCT sites, including the exchanges and twitter, to name a few.

White has texted me about the incident and yes, his account here is no longer under his control and the wallet download in the [ANN] is not safe.

My personal computer was compromised. Thus allowing access to my wallet amongst other things.

I recommend you don't download this wallet anywhere until my new workstation is set up. Those who can compile from source should do so. The weekend is here I have time to sort this all out.

then such an issue wont be a risk to this community
and the dev will have only one spot to update critical links ..

What about the ANNs in other languages?
Have those links been comprised?

Okay I see they are all the same URL but in most, the direct links are broken so the text would have to be copied and pasted. It might prevent a total newb from getting hacked.

Final Edit: The links in the other language ANNs point to the original download whereas the link in this thread was changed to point to a different URL containing the malware. I originally thought the file at mega had been replaced.
This is a bad situation, Dev lost his bitcointalk account, had his personal computer compromised and lost his personal stake in GPUcoin.
