Look for localized volunteer groups canvas the areas and then have set up distribution days where people can go in and show an id plus get a class or informational literature on cryptocurrency, and claim a paper wallet with said coins. simple solution. anybody that has a problem showing id is probably a scammer anyway...

For a small town, that is fine. For an entire country? That's problematic, to say the least.

Look up the key internet companies that are located in Greece. The email address used to sign up would of course only be eligible if it came from someone using an email from said Greek provider. Then include some IP checks in just as a backup safeguard (which of course is not infallible).

I think it could work, perhaps not perfectly, but it could be something to consider.

I think it would be easier to abuse email accounts / servers / IP checks, than it will be to fool social network auth at this point.

We know that facebook and google at least *wants* to verify uniqueness.. it may be a hard task and they may not have solved it 100%, but they've set teams within their companies to tackle this problem already.  After all, it is their business on the line.

IP checks would be very easy to fool, so that could just be added in as a backup extra type of thing.

As for an email account, I am not sure, but is it difficult to verify that an email only works with a specific provider? Of course they can be spoofed, but I assumed it wouldn't be that hard for a dev to figure out who is spoofing, and who isn't?

And when I say email accounts from a Greek provider, I don't mean freebie email signup things. I mean the sort that are linked to paying  internet accounts. I expect most accounts get several emails, so it's not 100% accurate ... then again, there may be several people per household on average anyway.

I may also be wrong, but I also think people might try to abuse facebook accts more than trying to fake emails from some greek internet provider than nobody outside of Greece has ever heard of before.

Anyway, just an idea.

I wish the shitheel from Leetpools would put this site back up so I can grab my Greeks and dump em already.

I dont wanna be around for the crash.

We have been under attack, the server is coming back up shortly so you can withdraw or continue mining. We appologize about the delay.

Thank you for your pleasant and professional response.

I have found 62 other things that have outraged me even more since i made that shitpost.

You can keep my GREEKS as a reminder of something unpleasant being stuffed somewhere the sun doesnt shine.

BTW have i mentioned that people should dump this coin as fast as possible? There isnt much time to get out. Act now.

People that come here and post BS are hilarious.

This is the way I see it and this is forever new coin/thread.

If they take the time out of their day to post here it can only mean two things.

#1 They are here because they have nothing better else to do and are simply lame people with not life. They get a thrill of pissing people off. Those that get pissed off and reply to their post are even worst. Don't reply to these dudes. Leave them alone and remember they are like little kids. If you ignore them long enough they will leave. Don't fuel the fire guys. Maybe the people replying are in it too?

#2 They have a lot invested in this coin. Do I need to explain more? No figure it out guys.

Those are the only two reasons why people would come and post BS here. I think most are here for the second reason I posted.

Yeah i know, all these "Sr" members are trying to impersonate Moderators.. trying to prove a point.. but its not working & its not needed on this thread. I believe in the coin and the Dev.. the coin is brand new and it has alot of potential which will be filled. Give it time, haters are gunna hate but making false accusations and creating up bullshit is another.

Most of the people here giving hate to the dev/coin is most likely missed the boat and wanting to the coin to drop so they can buy in.. we know their game its happened so many times on different threads.

Just look at AUR, everyone slating it and ripping the thread a new asshole but a few days later the coin hit the fucking roof and hit a high of $97. Now everyone shut the fuck up and get mining and buying these coins while they are this cheap.

U GAIZ R JUS H8RS SUCH TROLLS ZOMG GET A LYFE!!!

lolllllllllll.  PLEASE invest all the remaining btc into greece thinking it's the bargain of a century.  I beg you to do this.  You have all the warning signs right under your nose and you turn the other cheek.  You truly deserve to lose every penny you spend.

Again, Dev won't explain the moved premine coins?  That's a LOT of different addresses.  He better come out with an itemized list of the bounties, and if it doesn't add up...then say bye bye to all sense of accountability.

I'm already 99% certain he won't, because he already lied about it being about airdrop, yet airdrop is more than 3 weeks away.

You all are being taken to the cleaners, and defending the guy doing it hahahaha.

For around this place this post is literal genius.

Ya spelt it out for them. Don't forget how much the fanboyz love GREEK though!

The dev is dumping as fast as he can with the bags of loot...he is dumping while the bagholders do the lifting.

And the LeetPool is sleeping through the whole thing...he is gonna miss the drama if he dont get up soon.

This shit is just a prime example of a false accusation, how the fuck is the dev dumping. Do you really think he would dump a coin at one dollar when he could would wait for it to be $5 or $20 or fucking $30? The dev isnt dumping, just because he's got a title of a new comer everyone just classes him as a scammer, give the fucking coin a chance.

Are you nuts a masochist or just like losing money? The dev may have more common sense than you. This piece of crap coin isnt goin anywhere and he knows it.

he would be smart to take what he can for two days of work and dump it as fast as he can. He could make a lot of money for a few hours of work.
Shit, I guess my post was not welcomed by many.

I really appreciate how so many are looking out for us! It's amazing how people go out of their way to warn us about this coin.

You guys are really awesome and have a kind heart. I really wish more people were like this in real life.

Again, going out of their way to post here for no beneficial reason. Does every1 see it?

Thanks for sharing this, i will have a look into it, i have quoted what has been said for peoples opinions and views.

' Two key strategies are used to achieve these goals:

1) 100% Giveaway via social network validation - Instead of using airdrop and/or maildrop methods.  Planetdollar will leverage existing social network’s authentication infrastructure to distribute coins.  We will start by using Facebook’s auth: any verified facebook user can simply go to our website, and claim their coins.  No personal information is retained, no captcha or other ads are required.  We only use the authentication services that Facebook provides.  Unlike other distribution methods that have their said drops in the future.  This auth method and send is available at launch day.  This will be expanded in the future to include other social networks: QQ, Google+ and Twitter.

I would like to hear about this?

The problem with using social networks is of course people could abuse it. But it could certainly be one option.

I mentioned an idea earlier, which I think in theory could work ... but nobody really followed up on it.

Why not verify via email, similar to how Amazon verifies edu addresses for discounts on prime? But set it up to check email from Greek internet providers only?

Look up the key internet companies that are located in Greece. The email address used to sign up would of course only be eligible if it came from someone using an email from said Greek provider. Then include some IP checks in just as a backup safeguard (which of course is not infallible).

exackly because a 160B dollar market cap company with the brightest minds in the world working there havent already done this for years now despite numerous times saying that they will clearly means that they cant do it and wont do it any time soon and for sure is not going to happen for Greececoin.

Look.. if they can't do it.. than tbh, no one can.

That said.. just go try it with PlanetDollars.. if it works/doesn't work for you then we'll have a datapoint, either way Smiley

I have seriously at least 6 facebook accounts and i can make more, i have dynamic ip and anyway half wifi here are open or crack in seconds and you know you can always use proxies or other services to have a greek IP. I can use mobile internet from at least 3 different numbers i have. BTW i think many greeks have cyprian IP but i am not sure abou this.

And it doesnt look that good to use facebook in order to get a coin.

Greececoin is a scam coin and you will never deliver. You dont even know what you are talking about.

P.S. What about those greeks that dont live in Greece for studies or work? Come on....

I don't know much about greececoin being a scam.. but what we're working on is orthogonal:

The authentication method on facebook does require a "verified" facebook status, it's a new field that they added.  I won't say I can gaurantee this method is not fool proof.. heck someone could even borrow a friend's account.

But, it is a known fact that both Google and Facebook does have an vested interest themselves to crack down on duplicate accounts and to improve their verified field for unique users.

So I'm willing to bet on them more so than on any other method.  I've got to believe a 160B dollar market cap company with the brightest minds in the world working there are going to be able to do a heck of a better job than any other agency out there in unique authentication.

exackly because a 160B dollar market cap company with the brightest minds in the world working there havent already done this for years now despite numerous times saying that they will clearly means that they cant do it and wont do it any time soon and for sure is not going to happen for Greececoin.
