does this look like its working correct

That's what mine looks like.  Clicking "start mining" doesn't change the icon to "stop mining" like "start server" changes to "stop server"

I cannot seem to login to the UI/wallet.

The OSX UI client doesn't support copy paste, so good luck entering my password which is far far too long to be typed.

Trying to use the server, but cannot seem to connect to the webUI (the NXT-like one)...  Can someone help?

Thanks.

anyone help?

I get the same message on the Online Wallet. On my balance page, I show a balance of 0.02 HEAT (no idea where that value came from), but on the exchange page it shows 0.0000000. However, last night, prior to the fork, I was able to create a buy order, but after I cancelled, I started getting the error again.
We now send 0.02 HEAT for all new BTC depositors with zero HEAT balance.

Lack of UX sophistication is known and resources are gathered to fix it all around. This is still very early version for early adopter stakeholders.

Quote
If the exchange's use case is for someone to purchase HEAT and they have no HEAT, why wouldn't the value subtract from the purchase?
It works on decentralized network that requires 0.01 HEAT for every tx a priori. This limits possibilities for customization in cases such as the BTC asset redemption. We'll work on a way to make it smoother in mass adoption phase. For now you should always make sure you have a few HEAT-cents to perform required tx such as getting more HEAT Smiley

I always get a message "Incorrect "Not enough funds"" when I try to withdraw BTC as it is described. I get the message too when I type in less of the amount that I have.
Does your HEAT balance show 0? Transactions in the HEAT network require minimum 0.01 HEAT fee, concerns also asset transfers and orders.

I get the same message on the Online Wallet. On my balance page, I show a balance of 0.02 HEAT (no idea where that value came from), but on the exchange page it shows 0.0000000. If the exchange's use case is for someone to purchase HEAT and they have no HEAT, why wouldn't the value subtract from the purchase? It's kind of counterintuitive to allow me to deposit BTC to purchase a coin I don't already own, but require me to have that coin to initiate the order. This is a big user experience mistake, you need to at least hire testers so common issues are discovered and amended.

I have asked on this thread for someone to send me 1 heat (so I can make a purchase), but have not receive, so at this point, the built in exchange is useless to new users. Although, @stewieg was nice enough to try last night, but we were on a fork, figures.

Please set up a faucet so users can actually buy in on the built in exchange.

Yes, I have zero Heat balance. And with zero Heat it appears I can't buy Heat because also buying seems to require 0.01 Heat.
Would somebody please be so kind and send me 0.01 Heat so I can get out. My adress is

Got it,  thanks! Wasn't sure if maybe HEAT was combined PoW & PoS, like decred and komodo.

HEAT will combine PoS + PoP (new) later.

PoP stands for 'Proof-of-Presence' and will reward those who host slices of the blockchain.  No need for slices yet, so PoP rewards are given to the PoS block producers at this early stage.  AFAIK, PoP will only be used as reward mechanism and is not involved with consensus algorithm.

So with the latest release we can forge from a GUI wallet, excellent!

Yessir.  Enjoy!

Note: You will need JDK SE 8 installed to run the server portion:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html

Blockchain is updated and Java was downloaded from the above link. But, how can I see the GUI Wallet or which files do I have to open?
If you have blockchain but not the GUI wallet then you have most likely downloaded the server version.
You can forge with that but is a bit more complicated.

This is the GUI wallet
https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatwallet/releases

You just open it, go to app server, press start server and press start mining.

Many, many thanks! Now, I can also see the HEAT Ronny sent from Openledger.

Google your IP and if you find it on this page :https://heatwallet.com/nodes.cgi

you are ok! As long as you aren't blacklisted.

Is it already implemented to withdraw BTC from heatwallet.com? Before I sell my Heat I'd like to know that, because I only find a way to deposit Bitcoin.
Yes. Withdrawals will take approx. 24 hours because of the blockchain reorg possibility at the current time.

Instructions for withdrawals are visible when you click on the LOAD BTC button.

I always get a message "Incorrect "Not enough funds"" when I try to withdraw BTC as it is described. I get the message too when I type in less of the amount that I have.
