I can see from error log file it says Heat 1.0.3

https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatwallet/releases this one says heat wallet 2.0.0 includes heat server 1.1.0

Something's off

re-download and start from scratch maybe?

It's working for me so you have to be more specific about what steps you took.

I erased everything in C:\Users\yourlogon\AppData\Local\Programs\heatwallet which I think holds the blockchain

I saw it was starting from beginning of history on launch of 2.0 anyway so I wanted to make remove doubts and cleaned slate

Works for me (win7, 64bit)

New client [2.0.0] and server [1.1.0] releases

Desktop version with server: https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatwallet/releases/tag/v2.0.0
Desktop version with out server: https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heat-ui/releases/tag/v2.0.0
Server only: https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatledger/releases/tag/v1.1.0

Heat Wallet 2.0.0

Includes Heat Server 1.1.0, see below for details.

The HEAT 2.0 client consist of a major rewrite/improvement of the core workings as well of a brand new look and feel in line with the newly developed Heat Ledger Ltd corporate styling.

Focus has been on improving usability as well as performance, security and application stability.

Some of the improvements are:

  • your registered email account id is displayed now instead of the numeric id
  • others can address you now by your email account id
  • when sending heat, assets or messages there now is search as you type auto complete support which makes finding other accounts a breeze
  • wallets can now be imported and exported from/to your browser or the desktop app
  • individual accounts can be imported and exported using just their secret phrase
  • block explorer search for accounts, transactions, blocks
  • block explorer data display improvements
  • display assets issued and held by any account
  • preview message and display of full message in account history
  • exchange order expiry time period picker
  • deposit and withdrawal buttons for Heat Ledger certified asset gateways
  • fixed asset launch time display
  • real-time chart ticker picks up trades as they occur
  • uncertified markets hidden by default, expandable through clicker
  • improved trollbox chat with cryptographic identity proof (click on name to inspect account in real time in block explorer)

Heatledger 1.1.0

While this version is backward compatible with previous versions when it comes to the p2p protocol level operations. To use the new 2.0 class of the HEAT clients you will need this upgraded version since those clients depend on extensions to the API not available in previous versions.

Focus for the 1.1.0 release has been on increasing system stability by hardening the existing code to better deal with multi threaded access to the core HEAT storage components (basically the blockchain itself).

In the upcoming versions of the HEAT server product focus will shift to replacing the peer 2 peer system inherited from HEAT's NXT origins (the p2p code is the last piece of original NXT code).

Now that this step was made, the core is ready to be used by the new intelligent and fast HEAT p2p protocol, the final bottle neck towards reaching transaction processing at lightning speeds.

Thanks for the update! Worked well in win10 environment.

Has anyone seen a BTC withdrawal actually take less than 24 hours?

Personal experience, yes. Averaging on perhaps 10 hours.

I am the creator of the GNT and KMD Assets.

They also stopped my BTC withdrawals
...
I urge everyone to rethink their involvement with HEAT.
...

Did rethinking, trusting HEAT now even more Smiley Thanks for pointing out.

Get out of Crypto!
Blockchains were designed to enable trustless transactions of data.
You want trust? Go to banks and governments, we don't want you here you sheep

I am the creator of the GNT and KMD Assets.
HEAT is not a decentralized platform - the name of the GNT asset has been changed afterwards by power abuse of the developers.
Thus it is not possible to create any asset with any wanted name without being vulnerable to the goodwillingness of the developers.

They also stopped my BTC withdrawals - so if the developers do not want you to have the money, you will not get it - just like in traditional banks.

All of this shows, that they are not willing to run a DECENTRALIZED platform but a fully CENTRALIZED one.

They made commitments to the baking sector which are not fungible in the world of decentralized blockchains.
I urge everyone to rethink their involvement with HEAT.

It is not there to further development in decentralization.
It is there, to get you under central control of two people.

The nerve you have... You are selling air to people and show up crying about the platform. You make me see red. No honor whatsoever.

Bankster arguments "We are just here to protect you"
We all know where that leads.
Do not fall for that

How is sending things to you not centralised?  The whole idea of gateways is a point of centralisation and a problem.  You are upset because they are not letting you act as a gateway but let's not pretend this is about decentralisation.

I am the creator of the GNT and KMD Assets.
And also the more recent XRP asset, all of which you're selling to naive users without intention to operate any kind of gateway or redeem their purchased assets.

That kind of systemic fraud of what we've created at HEAT harms the decentralized asset trade, causes us high workload, and works in detriment of the HEAT token while immodestly piggybacking on our legal responsibility as the Heatwallet e-wallet provider and BTC gateway operator.

You sell hollow assets with misleading coin names to defraud people. HEAT isn't intended for that.

While Heat Ledger Ltd temporarily operates the centralized BTC gateway to the decentralized asset trade platform in our company name, we don't pay out funds obviously received with fraudulent purpose where this can be recognized with moderate workload. We don't monitor all assets and payments at all times, but where possible we halt such payments and withhold them until unspecified time or full refund to the mislead users has been arranged by the asset issuer.

Eventually, when fully decentralized gateways including BTC gateway have been deployed, we'll no longer carry this power however other technical adjustments will be in effect that aim to hinder fraud that unfortunately always is inherent within direct p2p systems of (digital) bearer tokens. Until that time, if you attempt fraud through Heat Ledger Ltd BTC gateway, we'll intervene.

The problem is that people can create assets in order to scam other people by using names of known coins.
Since Heat Wallet is still in an early development stage the warnings did not prevent users from investing into those shitcoins. I assume that in future versions there will be more clear warnings to prevent people to invest in those self-created assets. Until this has been solved I appreciate the fact that the developers try to prevent this, there are plenty of posts in this thread from people that lost their BTC due to scammers hijacking known names. Just call your asset "Kulla" and I bet there will be no problem with that...or what was your intention by creating GNT and KMD Assets?
