i can understand you, but like i said they are different enough that will be not a grey zone!
i did this concept without thinking on HP, i dont did it to purpose on the hp design.

again, for me this is a strong symbol, and its not fighting with hp.

...by the way the penultimate logo in that list is suspiciously similar to the Hewlett Packard "HP" logo. I'd withdraw that from the list.

its looks similar, but its sure different enough!
its works on a new way and its combinated with an other font an arrow that shows an upward trend.

similar logos are not bad - it can be good to transfer positive emotions like - success and technologie

so i wouldnt remove it!

ok well let's agree to disagree. I've done product launches in the past and have experience with branding. Things that can be construed as "confusingly similar" are a grey area legally. In my experience best to just be different than tempt any unwanted attention.

Why are we still using Ledger in the Product Name? "Heat Ledger" (as per previous posts from way back) is an unfortunate similarity to a dead actor. Yes it is a ledger product, but its name is HEAT. So let's just market this as HEAT. With HEAT Tokens or coins or "heats" as the currency.

Google isn't called "Google Search Engine", Coca-Cola isn't called "Coca-Cola Carbonated drink".

For the sake of marketing and pushing this brand forward, this needs to be sorted.

It´s not only the logo. The whole look&feel. And than: Another .tld for the forum?

There are so many good and professional designs out there... just professional public images. The Heat guys can´t see that? They have no eyes for that?

It seems for that (branding) they need to work with professionals and stop to think that they know what´s good (enough) design.

i think thats exactly that i said in my post before yours.

tipp to devs´s:
more bountys, more activity, more momentum ...

dont do everything on your own.
u raised a big amount of btc to bring this forward.
use them!

Am I only one who feel like I have seen this before? I mean with FIMK we saw almost all the same things before launch..

- No PR or marketing
- Lack of decent stakeholder communication
- Devs do not listen what the audience are trying to say
- Terrible name and homepage design
- Rumours about Poloniex and Bitrex
- Delays

Just took a look to the new forum. Another logo version? Serious?

Your corporate design/identity skills are horrible. You got already professional advice from other members. Why you not listen?
In the forum it also say that the logo will be announced soon. So they did actually listen, its just not their main priority right now.

Heat investors waiting for their tokens

That's seriously how I feel. Really sucks when the expected date to receive your coins is now almost a month past. Doesn't bode well, but I like the idea of the project so i'll stick around to see this one through.  Smiley

Many good projects have been delayed, I'm not too worried. I would just like to see the ICO verification in the next 7 days to get that confirmed.

any rough, stab in the dark estimates?
No, because estimates are often taken as promises, leading to all kinds of unwanted hassle.

The alpha wallet with testnet came up without much warning Wink

Sounds like the next step will happen like a suprise again. Last time it was sooner than later..

please give us a deadline. Thks
We've found deadlines don't work with a small team such as Heat Ledger Ltd currently is, because there's no room for flexibility that's always required in large software projects.

Thus we've abandoned the policy of giving firm deadline dates.
