This project has great potential and am sure you have done a lot of work already. As a potential investor the following is friendly and well meaning concerns.
First the sale seems rushed with little time to build a community and spread the word through other media platforms.
Secondly The white paper should be released before sale starts.
And finally it could always be dangerous having trading while the sale is on. Time has shown it is better to have less coins for ones investment and a larger community, then the other way around.
I will definitely be watching thou.

On our internal tests the HEAT JVM has been capable of achieving an unbelievable rate of several millions of updates per second on commonly available 16-core server.
This is wrong actually.
It should say "on my old and rusty 4-core linux desktop - with plain spinning disks".
On a 16-core server with SSD drives its more likely to see 30 to 40 million updates per second.

It seems the longer term price on FIMK was .0005 cents USD but now it is .0013 cents USD
But it only took $500 for FIMK to 3x the normal price but only on one exchange.

Price stages aren't related to any time period. If most NXT stakes remain unsold, then they do, and the unsold NXT based HEAT are distributed pro rata to those who have purchased with any currency.So if you only get 500 nxt in that period that 500 nxt shares the total 1.250.000 or how do you redistribute all these individual blocks in time and in currencies?
The endgame of the price stakes is still pending in case some currency classes get oversold, exact guidelines will be posted by the launch of ICO.

I personally want to hold as many NXT over the Ardor period. So it must be an easy profitable cycle to have NXT fund Heat. yes ok go through FIM (will not be seen as fair ) but if easy then all good. But is open ledger the only way. If so i will not bother too many steps..

Yes, both positives and negatives there in allowing trading for participants.
