I'm not double checking anything. The Block Explorer works fine.

More importantly, I will NOT DO ANYTHING because you demand it. My plan has already been proposed to the Dev team. If they decide to institute my plan - YOU and all the problems you've been bringing to this coin disappear. I prefer dealing in solutions that are quick and permanent.

Working fine? From your HKC block explorer, all output HKC wallet addresses start with "2", but all HKC wallet addresses start wtih "1".  Huh

Whether your HKC block explorer is based on ABE is not the point.
Please double check the output wallet addresses from your HKC block explorer.  All output wallet addresses are starting with "2". However, all HKC wallet addresses start with "1".

I'm not double checking anything. .....

This is a good excuse that your HKC block explorer is not working. Good answer. Then for sake of HKC supporters, please double check your HKC block explorer.

Yeah but he have spread them over 1 wallet id / block..

So impossible to trace, i guess this was done intentionally..
Quite a task to double check 2500 blocks that way.
The only reason you would do like this is to hide something.

Roll Eyes Are you a mental midget? The coins were solo mined with bfgminer using default settings.  That is the normal output from mining a block. All of the coins end up in 1 address.

Please go start a coin and mine it, so you can educate yourself or Please consult someone who knows something about how coins work before making wild accusations.

Everybody please try to use the HKC blockchain explorer (link below) to search info of block 50 - 52. Then you will know that MiningViking is telling the truth.

Another possibility is that the outputs of the HKC blockchain explorer are wrong. For the latter case, it is strange that such problem cannot be picked up by the HKC dev. Well.. for people using coingen coin as a cryptocurrency for launching, I could understand that they may not have the capability to pick up such simple mistakes.... LOL

Again with more scam accusations. I don't run the block explorer. You are free to setup one if you believe the current one is malfunctioning. Here is a list of the first 50 mined blocks.  Here is a picture of the wallet. Everything was mined normally. I have highlighted block 50

Dear HKC supporters, now you can see that HKC dev is lack of responsibility. He knows that the current block explorer is not working. He does not want to find someone to make another one, or ask Majorminers to fix the current block explorer.

Hey idiot. I've been doing my best not to respond to your crap anymore.

The Block Explorer isn't broke. It's based on ABE, same as everyone else's.

More importantly, who gives a shit? Why 'The Dev' would spend even more than one second trying to prove something to you is beyond me.

I already gave my advice to the Dev. I told him to rename the coin, forget Hong Kong altogether, and move on to a new environment where we don't spend all day arguing with nutjobs.

I'm not double checking anything. You aren't in charge of this project. In fact, your opinion is completely without merit and holds no weight.

You've spent a month saying basically the same thing, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Everyone has heard your criticism. You've had more than your fair share of attention over nothing really. You just don't DESERVE any more time or effort.

Furthermore, providing the premined block information could not help us to trace where the premined coins goes or have gone. HKC dev does not think auditing of premined coins (to make sure they all are distributed to HK people via HK IP addresses) is needed.

LOL

I have addressed your ridiculous post.

HongKongCoin dev hasn't addressed the MiningViking's key question.

It is impossible to trace the premined HKC. See the following post for search output from HKC block explorer.

The HKC block explorer is problematic. It never gives you a correct wallet address. All HKC wallet address should be starting with "1", but all HKC wallet addresses in outputs are starting with "2".

I have pointed out this problem before in HKC ANN thread before. Unfortunately, people there just said that I told lies and made this up...  This is really crazy that truth is being buried by tons of lies. I am so glad that MiningViking also found problems in HKC blockchain explorer and posted the output HKC wallet addresses, and then proved that I was not telling lies (well.. at least on the problem of HKC block chain explorer).

I also think that something has been hidden. This is why I refused to do auditing for HKC dev team. Even I found some problem. People there will just say again that I am telling lies and make this up...  Truth will be again buried by tons of lies.

another scam

Give HKC a chance, you will see that it is one of the few non-scam coins out there.

Cheers!

Btw guys, all of this recent support is great... Keep spreading the message. I want to keep this momentum going.  Grin

I wish I could give HKC a chance..... but really cannot.

It is nice that the logo of HKC has changed. ...Just upsetting news is coming one after one. I just saw a recent post from cryptobuddy, and came here to have a look.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/hongkongcoin-illegal-gambling-1st-post-locked-due-to-trolling-by-hkc-dev-560020

Why HKC collaborating with xtremedice to make a gambling game with HKC?

It is illegal to use bitcoin/altcoin in any gambling games that is not authorized by Hong Kong government.

Glad you like the logo.

HKC does not own xtremedice or coinhorse and does not profit from them any way. Anyone is free to setup any services using HKC because the currency is decentralized just like bitcoin or even the hong kong dollar.  The same way a casino in macau might accept HKD because its not centralized like paypal.  In the future you will see HKC being used by many different individuals and services. Inside and outside Hong Kong. Worrying about this is pointless, because it is the nature of a decentralized currency.

We do feel its our obligation to list services that use HKC, because not all users reside in HK.

Thanks for your input.

I have added a  notice in the main page

GAMING

The gaming services listed are not operated by HKC, and are not endorsed by HKC. For users in HK, online gambling with bitcoin is illegal in HK. For international users, please consult your local laws.

Can someone explain me 2 things:
1. if HKC is not scam, why did you get coin in to illegal actions (gambling on https://hkc.xtremedice.com/ )
2. why is HKC removed from http://coinmarketcap.com/

Why we have only 1 working pool, only 1 exchanger........
Why not make HKC more public?

Hi, thanks for mining! We appreciate it.

I always do my best to be polite to people - even when very little courtesy has been extended to me.  Grin

I took exception to your use of the word 'scam.' In the U.S, the word scam is used to denote someone stealing money from others. That word has been used again and again to describe this coin, when in reality it's very similar to most other altcoins out there. Generally scams in my country are counted in the 'BILLIONS' of dollars, and not in pennies.

I'm not the dev of this coin. If I were, I would re-brand it to something other than HongKongCoin.  I'm sure two words could be thought up that could replace the words 'Hong Kong' - example Hottest Krypto Coin or anything for that matter.

I don't know if the dev is interested in that, but I personally would be for the move.

As I've stated before, Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither is a crypto-currency.

My point remains: we're now three weeks after launch. Either people are working on adding value to this coin (like I am by providing a mining pool, block explorer, contest bonuses, and getting additional services to handle the coin) or people are just complaining about the work me and the dev are doing.

P.S. you can now play the lottery with HKC on Bilero.com: http://bilero.com/  Grin Enjoy.

More of this same B.S.

CoinMarketCap listing: http://coinmarketcap.com/hkc_7.html - look it's still there.

Uses for altcoins:

1) Fun sites (games etc).
2) Retailers.
3) Personal uses.

These are the same uses that all altcoins get, including but not limited to this one.

All of these areas are being worked on.

If you still think this coin is a 'scam' - then please move on. Find a 'legit' altcoin and work with that one. This criticism has been going on since the middle of March and it's very repetitive.

BTW, I'm surprised I really have to point this out, but Litecoin and Bitcoin are both used on gambling sites and for many other purposes. Cash is also used for gaming etc. That's the nature of a 'peer to peer' crypto-currency, it will be used for all sorts of purposes.
