Yep, that all appears to have gone well.
In the light of that, I'm going to be publishing HIP001 (HOdlcoin Improvement Proposal 1) shortly - some suggested improvements for HOdlcoin.
I've also decided to suit up. In the wake of the Fluffy Pony debacle, I think HOdl needs to start moving towards a more sober and serious public image. I'll be wearing a suit and referring to everybody as 'Mister' from now on.

It's been bugging me too,
I have been looking into it, haven't found a way to improve the index block loading C++ code, the longer the blockchain the more time
it takes to load it. I don't know if using an ssd would help speed it up.
SSD helps speed things up abit.

I've got a pc mining on version 2.0 and I was surprised to see that it continued to mine after the fork at block 257000.
Also, looking at the block explorer it says roughly 25% of the network is on version 2.
I had thought the v2 miners would be shut out after the fork am I missing something here?

This is the best coin because the only HOdlcoin that has at once three merits:
1) Interest is accrued on simply lying coins in the wallet
2) You can raise the interest rate if you freeze coins on a deposit in part or in full
3) Possible hardware mining on the processor by pressing one in the wallet

Yobit Hodl wallet has been in maintenance mode for a long time, then we updated the wallet since then. They did this before it took forever to get them to load the new code. Until they do dont buy from them will be no withdraw. Fish
