BAM
Hey everyone, just a heads up, I posted this a couple days ago in the NETKO thread.

I got miningrigrentals.com to list the Blake2s algo. Hopefully once they see that my machine keeps getting rented back to back nicehash.com will add the algo also. Once these two top rental sites both have the algo it only strengthens the fact that we do need a dedicated mining pool for each coin because the pools now do just pump up the difficulty then stop mining it making the next block take forever. I love suprnova.cc and maybe we can talk to OCminer. I know he de-listed NEVA because of lack of interest I think he said. I honestly don't know though... I'm just a newbie.

hey i like how this coin ws silent for so long and now is pumped, there is some traction here indeed, where this sis uspposed to hit major exchange? maybe we could see a pump to 0.01, dev while you are soft forkign you can also maybe add some sweet features to honey like delicious super block? notice how i used words to remain in theme with this coin haha, btw what you are going to do with the huge premine? the coin was launched before on another website and then here, this is not fair at all

Thanks for your suggestions and support! I'm not too interested in any superblocks, as they generally cause dumps. As for other exchanges... I've contacted Poloniex, we are on the voting list at C-Cex, and TradeSatoshi. Please feel free to bug, I mean, ask any exchanges if they will add honey. Smiley

Secret pool? No one told me anyway....

http://yiimp.ccminer.org/site/mining

When using this pool please use
Code:
c=honey
as the password to use your hash for only HONEY. This will support the network.

That is not true and these switching pools are to blame for the instability IMO. There is not enough dedicated hashrate. And these two pools point their blake2s hashes at honey when the diff is low, pump up the diff, then it stops being profitable, they start mining others (neva, verge, taj, netko...) making the honey chain stall.

the c=honey only means you will get payed in honey, it does not mean your hashes will go towards the honey chain.

Since I learned this I stopped mining Nevacoin at yiimp and zpool, only use dedicated pools or solo if you want to support the network.

Honey needs a dedicated pool.

Working on a dedicated pool now.

What does this really mean anyways?
Will it boost the value of the coin because in the last days all I have seen it just go down in value.

Bought at 0.001btc each and sold at 0.0004btc. Lost over half of what i bought them for in the 3 days of holding them was long enough for me. Embarrassed

Its a new coin. The dev is trying hard to optimize it.

Sorry to hear about you losses, you can't blame the dev for market actions...

THERE WILL BE A SOFT FORK AT BLOCK 22000 IMPLEMENTING DGWv3
THIS SHOULD FIX THE DIFFICULTY ISSUES AND BLOCK TIMES
IF YOU HAVE A MAC WALLET PLEASE SEND YOUR COINS TO THE EXCHANGE OR BUILD FROM SOURCE

More news coming soon!

Really curious how this will work out. Might implement it on Nevacoin if it works well Smiley
