Personally it might be good if this takes a little bit, if I get some money I will buy a few more Howls.
exactly what i wanna do , i actually tried buying some more howltokens from etherdelta this morning but went through a lot of difficulty due to gas fee , am always getting an error message saying 'out of gas' i kept trying and kept loosing money, i had to back off cus i dont have a lot of  ether to increase gas price more than am willing to pay
i will try to buy again when i have enough ether for gas , i beleive now is the best timesmart risk takers to accumulate howltoken cus when the project finally kicks off, we will never see this ridiculous cheap price again.

Some projects take longer than others to materialize, I am sure with patience everyone who held on will beneft with a new platform completely rebranded with a new team. I do have faith that the new person in charge will make something happen. A time frame would be nice to know though

I wasn't checking here for some time, it seems there is no update for some time.

Maybe passing the project who asks first can be a good idea again. It was the literally funniest thing i have ever seen on this forum.

Knowing that you haven't check this thread for some time it's quite understandable that you find it funny that the first person to ask is the current dev of this project, but there was a back story here, there's a comprehensible reason why the current dev is the one whom the previous dev trusted with the project, the current dev didn't got this project because he's the first one to ask, he got this project because he's the one who got all the resources to keep this project progressing, he is willing to donate his own money to keep this project alive and to keep developing this project, but that information wasn't available to the public to see because the previous dev and the current dev had that conversation on telegram as what someone on here mentioned and also in telegram the current dev is has always been so passionate about this project, so it's quite understandable why he took over and is currently doing what he can to move this project forward.

It's been awhile. I was here since the beginning and I still have my stack untouched. I still believe in this project I know dev is working hard in the background. I agree with getting an active community manager to post and answer some of the community's question and be alter ego of the dev. It's a different feeling if you get to read posts from an active dev against a project that is totally dead in terms of dev's presence.

is this thread dead?Huh or nobody cares about this project anymore???!!!

Are you for real? Why would you ask that when the last posts are just a couple of days ago (with Xmas in the middle)  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
In case you haven't noticed -  this is a fairly active thread, with the early stages of a pretty dedicated community to boot..
Don't come in here talking smack with your over indulgent use of punctuation.....!!!!!!!!!??!!??!!??!!!!!!

Its great to hear that things are humming along nicely in the background.

Really looking forward to seeing the rebrand  Grin

I've been following the project for a while and I am perfecly aware of the changes that happened...

Sorry I'm not a blind believer like you, so i understand your outrage for my words...

just a while ago I was just hopping the old dev would deliver, altough he was not showing signs of life, "work will speak for itself" I thought.... and then it ame the story we all know...

now, we have a new dev that can't come to the forum and post something directly... he just speaks through one or two members... since when ? ... almost since the beginning of the new dev experience...

oh, and by the way, the new dev that popped up, and as it was already mentioned here, was only active on this thread, promised a lot more when he took over.... like "keeping the community informed" as you might remember we had all just gone through the "silent experience"

I'm not accusing anybody of anything... but there are somethings that are pointing to fishy fish... and the dev should just post something directly for the community... would only be natural due to the circunstances

I'm not "outraged" by your words, I just found it weird that you asked if the thread was dead when the last postings were very recent..
I apologize if I took you the wrong way, I just thought it was unnecessarily fuddish..

And how am I a blind believer? I posted recently that I don't care what happens, because I'm not invested in the outcome..
I hold airdrop tokens that cost me nothing, so what have I got to lose if this project goes nowhere? Nothing..

If I was a 'blind believer', I would've actually invested some real coin into this thing when it hit EtherDelta..

I also have to apologise for my reactions that were exagerated. I was trying to poke things a bit.
I know things take time and pacience is one of the most important things to deal with crypto, but I also think that a lot of scams and dead projects result from the community being too permissive and keep supporting and believing without a professional atitude from the other side... we allow a lot of things to happen... let's be clear, the real projects are meant to be developed and grown into working products that are supposed to be used by a lot of people... do you think these new guys that are not even able to communicate in a forum, will go somewhere regarding the launch and marketing of a global product? if this is a real project  they need to get decent help fast...

I also hold my HOWL, but I can't see any progress here! No news, no beta, no new exchanges, so sad to see!

Why is crypto community so focused on exchanges? In a lot of projects I am hodling for long time I see people hoping for coin to get listed on more exchanges. I used your post for example because it is the latest one mentioning them, sorry for that.

From the point of developer. I would develop the tech behind the project and not pay a single cent to get my coin listed somewhere. It is just ridiculous situation which arose as a result of get rich fast scheme. If you have a quality project the exchanges will come knocking to your door in FOMO.

From a point of investor. Of course I would like to have one exchange where I can trade all my coins but that simply isn't possible. If I believe in project it doesn't matter to me if I have to buy it on bitrex, binnace or etherdelta.

Exchange listings in such early stages of project (as HOWL is now) can only serve the purpose to create short lived pump & dump. OK I will grant that awareness and market share of the coin could get higher because of listing on "big exchange" but it will come anyway as result of project development. Just at much later date but also with much more stable growth curve.

You really have a point here mate, but no matter how big the project is and how amazing the tech behind it is, exchanges will never come knocking at your door especially big exchanges like polo and bittrex, because as sad as this sounds, even in the cyrpto world, money is very important, in order for big exchanges to accept your coin/token, you need to pay a certain amount and that's just the way it works. There are a lot of impressive projects in the crypto world but they don't seem to be talked about that much because most of them just get stuck in small exchanges. Don't get me wrong but it's always important for a big exchange to accept your coin because big exchanges means big volume and big volume means larger market, the more people knows about your project the higher is its demand and the more valuable it gets. Honestly mate higher awareness doesn't always come as a result of project development, if you've notice, a lot of people will just take interest in a project if its value is getting higher in the market. Most people are interested in cryptocurrency because of how volatile it is and how much money they can get, only a few people are interested about project development as unfortunate as that sounds but that's basically what's really happening in the crypocurrency world.
well said, @themathiasmiller, you both have good points but I have to go with you, good exchanges are also good part of project development, it creates more awareness for the project and also bring in more investors, like you rightly said, most people don't really care about the tech in projects , all they care for is the profit they hope to get, you can have a good tech backing your project but if your coin or token is stagnant in price, no one will buy

That's not a big deal, since the reasons why are stated. The dev is coding, it's going to take a bit, there's nothing new to report, no need to hype. When the time comes, when code has progress, then that's real news.

Exchanges are important for marketing, to bring the investors focus to the projects and gain new investors to increase the marketcap. As a developer you can't give a sh*t about exchanges because then most of the investors give a sh*t about you and your project!

we do not know how to be patient. We need to think about the future.
If we do not make our plans in the short wing but in the long wing, there is no problem.
I think you're a little patient. You do not have to go this far. They work, they believe in their projects. Instead of supporting it, you turn your back.

Think long term. Calm down. Let's calm down. Everything is gonna be okay. But some of us are hard to be patient.
