From what I read I suspect that the dev is just one, if HOWL would have a team someone would keep contact with the community. Let's hope at least for the sake of the project  that the single dev is a really good one Smiley

Be patient, we all have nothing to loose. When we need to wait a little bit longer it is no problem too.

Yup patience is everything and I no problems waiting but when I turn into Full Member gonna have to kick the Howl signature for the time being. Will gladly add it back if something happens here which it seems like it will Smiley
yeah, we all just have to be patient with the new dev, I strongly believe January will not pass without some good Good news coming here, if Dev wasn't working as some people said earlier, I believe he wouldn't be replying to pm by now, probably he would have dump or sold part of the premine, but as we all can see on etherscan, the premine is untouched, dev is still wit us even though he doesn't want to talk here for now, shows this project is very legit, all we can do is just be patient, good things don't come easy, takes time, effort and patience

As i read on last pages the new dev works hard on this project. This is very good and after the launch of app we should search another exchanges.

is this thread dead?Huh or nobody cares about this project anymore???!!!

Are you for real? Why would you ask that when the last posts are just a couple of days ago (with Xmas in the middle)  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
In case you haven't noticed -  this is a fairly active thread, with the early stages of a pretty dedicated community to boot..
Don't come in here talking smack with your over indulgent use of punctuation.....!!!!!!!!!??!!??!!??!!!!!!

Thanks for the updates @Fivestar4everMVP.. And also @indijim for relaying devs message here..   Cheesy Wink
Its great to hear that things are humming along nicely in the background.

Really looking forward to seeing the rebrand  Grin

During my time here on Bitcoin talk I have learned that a lot of people involved with signature campaigns try to posts about coins that they don't know anything about and say things like that person just said. It's vague, showing a fake concern, etc.
you hit the nail on the head, very true, they do that just to make sure they meet up with their minimum number of posts required for them to get paid.... 😂 lolz can't really blame them

Yeah, can't blame them. But, it's good to be a little considerate and not FUD a coin for their own gain. That's bad to me because the lies could be bad for the coin. I'm still holding my Howl, will do so for a very long time.

This is from the dev

Most definitely, hear and understand everyone's concerns, and they're totally valid. We'll be releasing an update very soon, my time is better spent working and managing the project, just until we get the project lifted off.

Once we start releasing stuff, I'll be sure to be more active, as well as hiring a community manager to keep everyone updated regularly. There's not much else I can do yet other than tell people "I'm Working", and often they lash out and get angry. I'd much rather focus on Working and creating a high quality project, and allowing the Work to speak for itself.

It's not long left now until we finish up on the rebranding. I hope you can Stick around long enough)

so what is the status of howl project? i thought that it has been took over by another devs, any news or update?

Reading the posts, people were a little worried because the dev had not posted anything in a few weeks. Some people talk with him in what I assume is the Howl telegram, and they reported that the dev said that he's focused on coding, that there's really no point in worrying about talking it up, etc, just do die down, something like that. And since it's coming from a 3rd party some people were not really satisfied, so someone took a screen shot of the conversation.

I'm going to run it through an OCR later and post what he wrote.

i have been ready comments, to keep hope alive The new dev should have at least wave a hand to the community to show that he's still active.

I think right now the screenshots from @fivestar4evermvp is enough to keep the hope alive, I don't think the new dev is a fan of interacting with the community, I think seeing his replies from @fivestar4evermvp is reasonable enough on why he's not present on here and why he hardly updates but that's alright though, atleast now we have an assurance that he's really working on the project and some big news is coming this 2018. So I guess right now we should all just be patient, be optimistic and keep this thread alive, I think that's the best way to help the dev right now and to help this project move forward.

While it would be nice if this project had an active Community Manager to keep us all informed, I also think that all of us crypto holders need to learn a little patience too..

A few weeks without news may seem like a lifetime here in crypto land, but in the real world its actually not that long.
Do you think companies like Apple and Microsoft have a huge announcement every week? They don't..
Sometimes months can go by without any major news or developments, its just business.

Its silly that here in the cryptosphere, everyone starts screaming "scam!" or "the project is dead!" after just a couple of weeks without news.

Impatience creates weak hands, and weak hands lose money.

Everyone's looking for a quick ride to the moon while forgetting that developing ideas properly takes time and creating true value isn't something you just pull out off your ass overnight. Especially in this case, where the project is a handover..

Whether this particular project eventuates or not, I don't really care, because I'm not invested in the outcome.
If it does turn out, great. I do think the concept has potential and I do support the project and will continue being a part of the community and/or user.

To anyone that bought these tokens of ED: That's the risk/gamble you took when investing in such an early token with no material, so don't come crying here. And there's no need for scam accusations just because you're in the red.

To the dev team: If things are going as planned, I hope you'll consider appointing an active community manager at some stage.
As you know, in crypto, community is everything so it would serve the project well to dedicate some resources here..

To everyone else: Just take a chill pill and don't get your knickers in a knot just yet  Wink Smiley

I second this, really great post, I can assure everyone that this will surely pay off sooner or later, all we have to do now is be patient and give the dev time to do his work, I had a little chat with him today and I can assure you guys, dev is working and soon enough, this project will kick off better, stronger and more exciting and everyone will be happy 😊, dev explained his reasons for being silent which I quite understand, everyone should be patient, howl is not dead neither has it been abandoned, howl is just a sleeping giant that will soon wake up to everyone's amazement

Where did you speak to him. (I keep thinking it's a her, from when he took over and people trying to figure it out.)

Yeah I'm curious about this as well, where did you speak to him? On telegram? In person? Because I've just noticed that among all of us on here, you seem to be the one really close to the dev and you seem to know a lot of things about the project. What exactly is the dev currently working right now? Any specifics you can share to all of us on here?. Thank you for sharing this news mate, this really gives us hope that something is really gonna happen in a few weeks time anyway is there any reason why the dev couldn't tell this news himself to all of us? You stated on here that the dev explain his reasons for being silent, would you please explain it to us as well so that we'll also understand where he's coming from?. And I agree with @DirtyMartini, this project could really use a community manager and I think you will fit perfectly for the job mate, you have a connection with the dev and you seem to interact with him a lot so you can update us on here instead of him, that will make his job a lot easier and this can also give so much positive impact to the community. This can give us all a peace of mind that everything's doing fine, that this project is developing and is not being abandoned by the dev.
thanks mate
i had a chat with him on telegram actually , and for what he is currently working on, he just told me hes on the last phase of the rebranding process and soon enough, he will update everyone and get things started , and as for his reason for being silent, he explained to me that each time he tries to make us understand that this whole rebranding thing is not as easy as we think most especially when good quality is a priority, and also when he tries to plead on everyone to be patient , we never try to understand , all we do is lash out on him saying he is always saying that same thing all the time. He said thats the reason why he decided to just keep mute until hes done with the whole rebranding process , then the work(output) can tell why it took so long...
i also talked to him about hiring a community manager, i was glaD to know that he was also thinking in the same direction and he promised to hire one as soon as the project kicks off but who to hire................? is up to him to decide and thanks for recommending me mate @themathiasmiller, but i dont think am that good ..lol Grin Grin
here is a screenshot of my chat with dev, for those of you that would want to doubt whether am being truthful

there is no activity, no news, the goals from the road map are not met, it's pretty sad, I hope that the work is going on

Can't really judge by the roadmap, since things were changed and started from scratch. Interesting story line non the les.s
