same coin you can send between the two. However Zaddress TX's do not show on block explorer, those remain private.

Unlike Zcash we ditched the founders reward.
Instead of the founders reward we have a small pre-mine of 0.578% that will help us invest in several ways and develop the currency over time. This will be public for the community once the block explorer is up, they will be able to see how much that is used, where it went and why we used it. The community is the currency in our eyes, we need to be on the same page as them at every point therefor our communication will be what differ us from the others. Absolutely! Time is required to build a coin and it's community. Zdash can make it big with constant improvements and developments.
Community will grow over time when they see developments being made and when the devs are committed.
Bitcoin is the best example for this.
