Miners by nature dump that's their go at it (bills to pay). Investors are the ones that should be balancing the prices at the exchange. Too many miners doing their job and not enough investors to support them. Saying a miner should hold isn't likely because they have to cash out to pay the electric bill. Anyone with a gpu/cpu farm are in to make money, faster the better, even at lower price than investor/users caret o see.

Whales pumped and dumped it already and are pretending they didnt... then blaming miners. but it is in fact the miners that are ruining it now... they are just mining and dumping at current rate, which was caused by the fear instilled by the giant dump, and now all the FUD about GPU mining. Yes, devs need to update the website and change "CPU only forever" to "Very ASIC resistant" because nobody really cares if its CPU or not, they just don't want to be told something that may actually be false. The focus should have always been on the voting aspect IMO.. :/

I'm putting more funds in and buying right now at this price because I think there wont be an opportunity to buy this low again.  Miners should be holding, otherwise they are about to ruin the value of the coin on the short term...

no blocks found in 3days?
http://heavycoinpool.com

That's generally what is expected when the pool's total hashrate equals about 2 rubber bands and half a pack of gum.

So this is not a pool error?

no, not a pool error. 1GH has basically 80%+ of the network's hashrate, hence heavycoinpool is useless

sad but true. the network is entirely monopolized
I would disagree with this assessment. Heavycoinpool is currently running at 45 Mh/s, which should be enough to find one block every 4-6 hours depending on luck. To have gone 28 hours so far suggests something might be wrong.

http://heavycoin.zhpool.com have found their blocks with the same pool hashrate but much less miners... why this happen?

http://heavycoin.zhpool.com got 2 unconfirmed blocks now...  god must have bless zhpool

Yes, I think uncertainty with the amount of posts about GPU lately and mixed views on what this will mean for the value and long term future of the coin, and what mgt. response will be - would be good to hear from those running it as to what is actually going on with GPU or not and how this will change / be rolled out to the masses within the next weeks or not?

I was/am LOVING HVC, but I'm just hesitating on investing BIG for now until there is more clear information on whats going on with GPU and what this means for a supposedly "CPU-only" coin.

Still masses of potential but needs some clarity and authority input on this issue.
+1

Top buy order at 0.00003070 as of posting, ouch.  (anyone can now buy below IPO!)

Price is going to 2XXX satoshi shortly.  GPU miners available for "CPU-only forever coin", no statement from the keccak+nomisugi. Also 51% attack possible as 1GH has 70-80%+ of network hash power. NEED ACTIVITY

Not exactly looking good at the moment and ENTIRELY unexpected. i HATE TO SAY THIS. i was/am LOVING HVC, but I'm just hesitating on investing BIG for now until there is more clear information on whats going on with GPU and what this means for a supposedly "CPU-only" coin.

Ok I think we all need to market and support Heavycoin. Spread the information out to the masses. If we all post around the bitcoin community, and promote Heavycoin everything will be fine.

to be honest whatever happens with gpu mining I still believe this coin has a big future, its such a bargain price at the moment.

Anything below .00004 is a bargain. imo
