Hi.  I have 4 GPU mining rigs with 16mhs using BAMT currently pointing to wafflepool.  Since they use GPUs and I think the cpu have free resources.  Is it possible to mine this Heavycoin using the cpu resources concurrently while also mining with GPUs. If possible, how can this be done?

get out here,please.

Maybe you should get out.

@hashpuppy - just run an instance of the HVC cpuminer besides cgminer/bfgminer/whatever you use with your GPUs, and adjust number of threads according to your available resources with the -t x option.

I love this, double profit

Hi hushpuppy. Yes, it's possible.

Just fire up the cpuminer and mine HVC as usual, it'll use your CPU resources while your GPU is mining other gpu-minable altcoins at wafflepool.

I have to second this. Running an automated vulnerability scanner is the bare minimum anyone running Internet-facing servers should do, and will only detect certain types of known security flaws. It says nothing about the application-specific security of the site (i.e. how secure the actual code and processes are for the exchange).

Atomic-Trade is the most secure exchange PERIOD.  They have to be as a verified registered FINCEN MSB.

This a 3rd party audit.

http://atds.blob.core.windows.net/temp/sr.jpg

How does that make them the most secure?  I've had an external audit as well but posting results of a vulnerability scanner mean absolutely nothing.

Please keep posts fair and don't spread ideas etc that you cannot prove.

Target met way more requirements than atomic-trade did and they were still breached, is atomic-trade more secure than RSA? They are huge security company and they were breached as well.

I understand you like atomic and I agree they have great security practices but please don't make unprovable comments.

I've tried both available minerd copies for windows (64 bit) in heavycoinpool.com and same as wrok reported, either "stratum_subscribe timed out" or once in a while it starts but only produces invalid shares. So at the moment I'm staying with 1gh. Too bad because the hashrate I was getting is about 10% higher.

Any windows user found it working? Maybe the 32 bit build does work?

To have more options, I'm leaving here more download links:

The minerd from 1gh, Windows 64 bit version:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/2whyzo0w2q6mrca/minerd_hvc_1gh.rar

Minerd Windows (64 bit) compiled previously and shared in this thread, excuse me for not providing the OP:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/38lvm0f66y3ajbi/minerd_hvc.zip

Both work fine in 1gh for me, none so far in heavycoinpool.com.

Same here.

sorry try again minerd.exe -a heavy -v 512 -o stratum+tcp://stratum01.heavycoinpool.com:4333 -u workername -p workerpass

Doesn't work.

I have to say a massive thank you to keccak512 and nomisugi for sorting out my IPO investment. For whatever reason I was unable to extract the coins from Debug Window, even with the rescan. They have obtained this from the genesis block and sent to my wallet (it's a nice sight to behold). I thought it was lost, therefore cheers guys.

If you have invested in the IPO, and sell at current prices, you will actually loose about 30% of your investment.

Wrong, IPO price was about 0.00003477051, current lowest sell price for more than 100 coins on cryptoaltex is 0.00003998 (about 14% higher than the IPO).

Furthermore theres massive hash power being put on the coin, hence the price will adjust. not many are selling at this price.

However the current price is a VERY GOOD thing because the price should be similar to the IPO so anyone can get in for a fair distribution which is exactly what we have right now. It would be strange if the price was extremely higher than the IPO few days after launch Smiley

You have to look at the last trades. On cryptoaltex you are at 0.000032, and below the IPO with small trading values. Trading 1 BTC worth you will go down below 0.00003.
