I would really like to invest, this one feels promising!

Securing identity is a major issue in social networking as you hear news of accounts getting hacked every day. Focusing on that aspect in Faceblock has a lot of potential. But the most important part is going to be getting people to use the service. People already spend so much time on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat that there is not much time for another social media app. UI and marketing to get people to use the app will be essential and I have my doubts about that. 100 million users in Q1 2018 seems incredibly unreasonable to me. Can someone working on the team convince me otherwise?

Although both our project and Steem are social networks based on the blockchain technology, Steem is a blogging platform while our aim is to develop a place that makes it easy for you to connect and share whatever you like with your family and friends online without the fear of your personal data being stolen and sold to corporations so they can profit from it. Social network is just a type of a website, it's not copyrighted to anyone, anyone can make their own social media website, and it having the word "Face" in it is no problem as well. Thank you.


Since Facebook is basically the leading social network at the moment, yes, we're inspired by it, but that doesn't mean that we're exactly like Facebook, if anything, we're far different from Facebook in many ways. Yes, the logo is inspired from Facebook's logo, but from what we've heard, we should be fine. Though we're not fully sure yet, and the logo is bound to change at any time to something more original (and better designed, as well), if any problems do appear (which we doubt, but still, we took precautions).
